Students in South Sudan start New Congregations

Greetings brothers, and happy new month. 

As our students are home, I would like to share with you the activities that they are getting involved in and new congregations that they have started.

Evangelism 

In Aweil, there is one new congregation started by one of our Mariano, which is getting good attendance for 2 weeks so far. And again we have in Jonglei Uror County a new congregation started by Mading Majieth, with few number as 6, at his home village. Others have joined their old congregations and are helping their congregations with church activities on a Sunday basis.

Baptism 

In Aweil, they baptized 11 souls overall results in 8 congregations.

And I Uror Mading has baptized 2 souls.

School Opening 

We are still 3 weeks away from the opening of the school, which is the 27th of this month, and classes resume on 30th Monday June.

We will still update you on their activities.

Students in Bor, South Sudan finish a successful semester

Greeting brothers. 

Hope I find you well. 

We give thank to God for his guidance and keeping us healthy. 

We also thank Bear Valley and our Christian brothers who have continuously prayed for South Sudan situation mostly special Keith. It's with great pleasure to tell you that your prayers are heard and the situation is now calmed. 

The school is closed today and the students are heading back home for holiday where they will help the home congregation and their families. They are going with the task of evangelizing, teaching, and conducting personal evangelism activities, and they will be back to school in June.

We will update you about their activities while homes on the impact that they are doing.

Students in South Sudan work with 5 Nearby Congregations

Greetings brothers, 

I hope you're doing well.

The school is moving well, we were affected by heatwave from last two weeks, but we pray it will be normal.  

Courses 

We are now at quarter 2, having 1 long course and 1 short course.

Students Performance 

The students are going on well, though the English is a big challenge to a few, but the teachers are trying their best help them with listening, writing and speaking.

Teachers

We have the same teachers no new teacher assigned, only next month is were we expect a teacher who graduated from biblical school in Ethiopia.

Evangelism 

Each Sunday we sent out 10 students to help 5 congregations that are here in Bor, and with the feedback from congregation leaders, they really appreciate our school and students for the messages they deliver.

Students Health 

With the help of First Aid medicine that is in our store, we solved some minor cases of headaches, fever, and other. Students are all now doing well.

South Sudan School of Preaching -BVIBI

Students continue their Studies and Outreach in Bor, South Sudan

Hello Keith.

I believe you are doing well there and we are fine by God's grace.

The school resumed in January 13th with classes taking effect.  

Courses 

First Year Quarter 1 have ended today and on Monday quarter 2 will start with 2 long courses.

Students Performance 

The students are going on well as we are trying our best to help those who have difficulty with English while they're good with local language. Only two students are very poor in performance during this first quarter, we will evaluate their overall grades and see if they will improve or will not make it.

Teachers

We now have another addition of one teacher whom we have assigned to teach Hermeneutics-Biblical interpretation. He is a graduate from Mutare School of Preaching.

Evangelism 

We have started last Sunday sending out students to evangelized and help 5 congregations that are in Bor. We arranged the tabletime to dispatch 2 fair which make 10 students each Sunday.

Students Health 

The students are all healthy currently only at the end of last month were one students was admitted in the hospital, and he has recovered now feeling better. We also have First Aid medicine that in the school which solves headaches, fever, and other small cases.

South Sudan school flourishing

Greetings to you all and happy Merry Christmas and New Year!

My prayers that God will guard and protect us to see what the new year awaits us all!.

Some of our 15 students are doing fruitful jobs delivering the knowledge they have gained from school to their varies congregations.

We conducted 8 campaigns:

* 6 in Aweil area by 2 students that resulted to 11 baptisms.

 * 2 in Juba which resulted to 1 Baptism 

* There were 2 new congregations planted; one in Aweil called MALOU-CHUAI CHURCH OF CHRIST and one in Ayuai area called MANKIIR CHURCH OF CHRIST.

We now have 3 new teachers that will be part of us in teaching which make our number as 7 teachers. The school will open in January 10th and classes will start on 13th January Monday 2025 to May 2025. Attached below are the photos of students participating at the church activities, teaching, compaign and baptisms.

We the teachers and members of Lord's church in South Sudan 🇸🇸 appreciate and give thanks to the Bear Valley donors and administration, not forgetting God who make all this possible.

New School in Bor, South Sudan

Hope you are well. We are doing fine and the students and school is progressing well.

STUDENT HEALTH

The students are doing very well and the weather is now conducive as soon we are going into winter from mid November to February. They only encounter cases of malaria, headaches, and fever, but we have medicines at the school, both antibiotic and painkillers, for them.

COURSES TAUGHT AND NEXT COURSES

 At the opening we starts with The book of laws (GENESIS-DEUTERONOMY) and LIFE OF CHRIST (ONE) which all ended successfully and the students did performed very well with only one person who has low grade but we are trying to help him till end of first quarter to see his progress. Next lessons will be HOW WE GOT THE BIBLE and PERSONAL EVANGELISM (ONE).

In December the students will return back to their home congregations to help in doing church activities and participation, then return to school in January. 

We appreciate you and the Bear Valley team for the initiative and decision to make it possible for South Sudan to have a school....It will be a great boost and help to the growth of the new planted churches and maturing to the already churches.
