Success despite hardship
Dear brethren:
Hope you are well and your family.
We the teachers and student are fine.
The country's tension is currently normal though it was high with rebels resuming fighting at the northern part of the country. We pray the parties to get together for dialogue.
Students are going on well with studies with two courses remaining, which will commence next week then they go for holiday at the beginning of June. Their health is good too.
Evangelism is going well which resulted to 6 souls converted at the beginning of April. They all attend worship at Sherikat Church of Christ though their residential area is far to church venue.
Some obstacles
1. Safety tank got damage at the surface floor. It needs some bags of cement, sand and aggregate to level it.
2. We need to produce Student IDs.There is ongoing mobilisation of youths (young people) to join army by the government, and they do not take students. They encountered our students two times last week and I see it that there is need for all the students to have their IDs with them when they go out for evangelism and to the church building to help them not being victims.
3. Uniform: It's not urgent but we should be put into consideration. We mange to get one fair last year if possible we need to have second fair to help them have a change of clothes.
4. Mosquito Nets: The nets we bought in 2024 have all gotten old and split easily. It is the season for rains and there are now 3 cases of malaria in the school due to Mosquito bites.
Your brother in Christ,
Jacob Ajak
