I pray you are all doing well, We the teachers, staff, and students are fine. We thank God for a new month and hope it will be good beginning to all of us. Our students are coping well with their studies. This is the last month for school and soon the students will go back to their homes for a break.
Challenges encountered.
Rains have make it hard for students to hold activities at the congregations in Bor for the last two months. Having no raincoats and gumboots makes it hard to walk in mud. Some days they are able to go but some days they cannot if the rain is too hard.
Evangelism effort.
Our students have conducted multiples evangelism campaigns and one on one discussions with neighborhood homes and at the school. We established a seminar close to the church building and invited people from different denominations. We let our student attend so that they can learn to teach them how to teach others. It resulted in two baptisms last month.
There are 5 congregations in Bor where we engage our students currently.
I wish you happy new month, journey Mercy to South Sudan and have a wonderful day.
Your Brother in Christ,
Jacob Ajak - SSSOP
