Congregation Started by BVBI in Juba, South Sudan

Greeting brothers, Hope you are doing well.

It is another month to thank God for his protection and guidance.

Below here is the May activity report.

South Sudan health and Security Situation

Currently there is no fighting going on between the rebels and government. The Ebola is not officially confirmed to be in South Sudan only that there is international restriction to travellers going out and coming in. We pray it won't reach here.

Holiday Break

The school was closed last weekend. We thank God that they arrived safely at their home congregation; mostly those of Aweil make it home today afternoon though there was much complication at the start of their journey and on the way we thank God for that. They will all come back at the end of July and resume in August.

Learning Status

We are done with 3 semesters which is 6 quarters with 20 courses completed. Once they come back from holiday we will finish the remaining 8 courses, then hold graduation.

Evangelism

The evangelism effort done during the last 4 months by our student was really tremendous. There were 11 baptisms and 1 congregation started. I have 2 Sundays with them and will continue with them for sometime. Let's pray for them to grow in faith and be well mature in God's word.
