Terrific outreach in Umuahia, Nigeria

BEAR VALLEY  BIBLE INSTITUTE NIGERIA UMUAHIA CENTER

Quarterly Report:

June to August 2026

Equipping Leaders for Kingdom Impact

INTRODUCTION

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we reflect on the past quarter, our hearts are filled with profound gratitude for your unwavering sponsorship and dedicated support. It's because of your commitment, that Bear Valley Bible Institute Nigeria Umuahia Center continues to serve as a beacon of biblical truth, equipping men and women to fulfill the Great Commission with passion and integrity.

This quarterly report highlights the tangible fruits of your investment. It ranges from rigorous academic progress in the classroom to transformative gospel outreaches in neighboring communities. Your generosity is not merely funding a program; it is directly raising up the next generation of ministers, teachers, and church leaders.

2. Academic Activities

During the period under review, our academic programs operated at full capacity, with an emphasis on both deep theological scholarship and practical ministry skills.

Curriculum Coverage

Our students successfully completed intensive course work in the book of Job, Psalms - Song of Songs as well as OT Major Prophets.

Student Achievement

An encouraging number of students maintained honors-level in academic standing.

Faculty members on their own part, noted a remarkable increase in spiritual depth and research quality of students as reflected in their term papers and practical assignments.

 Capacity Building

Through your effort, we received our own allocation of the E-Library which has been put into use. It has significantly enhanced the research capabilities of our students.

3.Evangelism Outreach & Field Ministry Impact

As it's said that faith without works is dead, and at Bear Valley Bible Institute Umuahia Center, ministry training extends far beyond the classroom walls. This quarter, our faculty and students engaged in targeted evangelistic missions to bring the light of the Gospel to surrounding communities.

Community Outreach Executed

On August 22, 2026 we conducted a soul hunt exercise in Umuchime village about 15 Kilometers away from our school location. All the men in the congregation deserted the church leaving only some women and children to fend for themselves even during Sunday worship. We inquired and were led to some of the men at their homes. We persuaded them to return to the church and resume their leadership roles. More importantly, I want to encourage/help some of the students to be going there, at least every Sunday to conduct the worship and further persuade the men to return to their duty posts. We intend to return to them for further evangelism to revive the church. In our door-to-door  evangelism and open-air campaigns, our students discovered that Umuchime is fertile ground for the gospel and need steady follow up to reap a bountiful harvest there.

In addition, we are talking with the prison officials to have a combined (male & female  inmates) seminar. We cannot give a date yet for it because of the officialdom involved in such a facility.

4.Special Events

It's with a heavy heart but gratitude to God we announce the demise of one of the elders of our host congregation, in the person of elder Sylvanus Monday Orji. The burial date is not yet out.

However, the eldership has been collapsed and we have to now work with the emerging leadership. There's no threat to our stay and may never be.

Annual Leadership Conference

This program is in view. We intend to make a two-day Conference for men which will feature some guest lecturers from mainly other nearby centers.

6.Conclusion & Looking Ahead

As we look toward the upcoming quarter, our vision remains steadfast: to train, equip, and send out bold ministers of the Gospel.

None of these programs would be possible without your prayers, encouragement, and faithful support. You are a vital co-laborer in every soul saved, every leader trained, and every community transformed through Bear Valley Bible institute, Umuahia Center.

May the Lord multiply your seed sown and increase the harvest of your righteousness (2 Corinthians 9:10).

In His Service,

Yours

Oji O. Oji
