QUARTERLY REPORT – SECOND QUARTER 2026
INTRODUCTION
The Bear Valley Bible Institute, Okpanam Study Centre, remains committed to its mission of equipping men and women with sound biblical knowledge and practical ministry skills for effective service in the Lord's vineyard. During the Second Quarter of 2026, the Institute continued to combine classroom instruction with practical evangelism, providing students with opportunities to apply biblical principles through active gospel outreach. This report highlights the evangelism activities and academic progress recorded during the quarter.
EVANGELISM OUTREACH REPORT – MAY 2026
In the month of May 2026, Bear Valley Bible Institute, Okpanam Study Centre, in collaboration with the Church of Christ, Amusement Park, successfully conducted an evangelism outreach aimed at proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and providing practical evangelism training for students.
The outreach was designed to strengthen the students' ability to communicate the gospel publicly while reaching members of the surrounding community with the message of salvation.
EVANGELISM ACTIVITIES
1. Open-Air Preaching
An open-air gospel meeting was conducted in a strategic public location within the Amusement Park area.
One of the Institute's students, Brother Christopher Eboagwu, served as the speaker for the day. He delivered a biblical lesson titled:
"The Plan of Salvation and You."
The lesson focused on God's plan of salvation through faith, repentance, confession, baptism, and faithful Christian living. The opportunity also served as practical training in public preaching, helping students develop confidence and effectiveness in proclaiming God's Word.

Approximately thirty-two (32) members of the host congregation
Approximately twenty (20) prospects from the community
The programme attracted good attention, providing opportunities for both teaching and interaction with members of the public.
2. Tract Distribution and House-to-House Evangelism
Following the open-air preaching, participants divided into groups to expand the outreach effort.
One group distributed gospel tracts to residents and passers-by.
Another group carried out house-to-house (door-knocking) evangelism, engaging individuals in personal discussions and encouraging further Bible study.
These combined efforts enabled the gospel message to reach many individuals throughout the community.
3. Closing Fellowship
At the conclusion of the outreach activities, all participants returned to the meeting place of the Church of Christ, Amusement Park.
The programme concluded with:
Congregational singing
Closing prayers
Christian fellowship with the host congregation
The brethren also provided refreshments for all participants before everyone departed for their respective homes.
FOLLOW-UP
The names and contact details of interested individuals were made available to the host congregation for continued visitation and Bible study.
We pray that these efforts will continue to bear fruit as God's Word is taught faithfully.
ACADEMIC PROGRESS – COURSES COMPLETED THIS QUARTER
The Institute maintained steady academic progress throughout the quarter. The following courses were successfully completed:
Old Testament – Minor Prophets Hosea to Malachi 2. Bible Geography Biblical Lands, Locations and Historical Settings 3. The Life of Christ IThe Gospel According to Matthew
Academic Highlights
Students completed studies covering the Minor Prophets.
Students gained a better understanding of biblical geography and its importance in Bible interpretation.
The study of the Gospel of Matthew strengthened students' understanding of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.
Classroom instruction continued to complement practical evangelism activities, allowing students to apply biblical knowledge in ministry.
CONCLUSION
The Second Quarter of 2026 has been another productive period for the Bear Valley Bible Institute, Okpanam Study Centre. Through continued evangelism, practical ministry training, and sound biblical instruction, the Institute remains committed to preparing faithful workers for the Lord's kingdom.
