Report

Introduction

Hearty greetings to you brothers and sisters in the Lord our God and Savoir Jesus.

We have now resumed classes for our final quarter as we conclude our final second year. In this report, we had a good time in the village, as much as all our students had shown a great desire to know God's word better and keep us in touch with each other.

REACHED WITH THE GOSPEL

Our mission has been that we plant two congregations deep in our rural places, one in Malila Ngungu the place where brother Cephas Mwamba who worked with Healing Hand international have put a well in this village and he has done the same for the other one in Mpongwe west.

We have done our preaching in the two places and the last one has been in Mpongwe west. So far our preaching has been going on well and recorded 4 baptisms. We also discovered 3 members of the Lord's church and were restored we worshiped together before our departure. We intend to spend more time in these places preaching and believe  we are going to reap a good harvest.

REACHED MORE WITH GOSPEL LITERATURE

In the southern province of Zambia, once again brother Kennedy Mukuka, working together with Samuel Zemba, Tryvin Siamachila have done a great work.

They have spread the gospel literature in 4 secondary Schools, which enabled them to speak to more than 2,500 pupils, giving them more than 1000 pieces of literature of the gospel for W.B.S to study on their own. The teachers were very interested too.

We have baptized many bible students here on the Copperbelt, who were converted using WBS. We believe this will happen in Southern province as well as in other provinces of Zambia too. Brother Kennedy is our country coodinator of WBS and he is also a recruitment director at BVBI-Zambia

SUVIVAL SKILL

Paul said in (Acts 20:35) “I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Teaching our students how to survive through gardening has been our life changing skill through practical means. Our Garden continues to make good progress and great impact in the community where we are.

Our corn field and cabbage is getting ready to be harvested. On many occasions we engage with our community during this time and our students spearhead the program. This gives them the opportunity to interact with the community once again. We have done this before through the selling of our bananas and also enjoying them at our Instutite

IN TOUCH WITH OUR AlUMNI

We have more good news from southern province of Zambia where our former students are working in His vineyard.

Daniel Kapata, Gershom Chansa and Tryvin have worked tirelessly and have produced a good soul harvest. 7 souls have been added and 12 were restored. Clive kabika has continued to make steady progress in his preaching, the current student body and our Alumni are building up a stronger working relationship every time they meet.

Daniel was met by our current student Samuel during our just ended short break, Samuel did preach at the congregation in Zimba district where Daniel congregates and have 4 souls added to the sheepfold and recorded 6 restoration. On the same development Gershom and Daniel preached together in Kalomo district and had 6 souls added to the Church

On the same development brother Kennedy Mukuka was invited at the 37th annual lectureship that took place in Namianga of Kalomo to teach, the total number of those who attended were 2,564, out of these, 127 were restored and prayed for, 16 baptims were recorded. This has been a good news that we have had in the month of July. He and some of our students did a great work at this meeting.

SOULS SAVED AND RESTORED

We have recorded  31 new souls added to the church and we have  recorded a total number of 148 souls which were restored in the month of July. May these souls continue to walk with Jesus forever.

A total number of 14 souls were prayed for in the month of July. They are wonderful additions to the family of God

CALENDAR

We are on count down to our big day, the graduation only 61 days remaining. We look forward to a great time of fellowship and fun

CONCLUSION

May our God keep you safe, thank you to all of you brothers and sister for making our work easier through your contribution. (Matthew   5:14)   Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

In His service,

Cephas and Fred
