Evangelism campaign in Abakaliki, Nigeria
BEAR VALLEY BIBLE INSTITUTE NIGERIA – ABAKALIKI
Quarterly Report: April – June 2026
Introduction
We are profoundly grateful to God for the successful completion of the second quarter of 2026. This report highlights the major developments and activities at Bear Valley Bible Institute Nigeria, Abakaliki Center, from April through June 2026.
Courses and Class Activities
During the quarter under review, the following courses were offered:
1. Old Testament 1 (Books of the Law) (April 2026) – Facilitated by Brother Nworie Ogobuchi
2. Old Testament 3a (A Study of Wisdom Literature: Job) (May 2026) – Facilitated by Brother Orji Moses
3. Old Testament 2 (History: Joshua – Esther) (June 2026) – Facilitated by Brother Obeten Okoi Oka
All courses were taught in accordance with the Institute’s curriculum and academic standards. Students demonstrated strong enthusiasm, active participation, and a growing commitment to learning and spiritual development.
Campaign for Christ / Evangelism
In May 2026, there was a major evangelistic campaign in the Ugwuachara area of Abakaliki. We partnered with the new congregation in that area to evangelize the community. Over 70 persons (BVBIN students, Church members, and preachers) participated in the evangelism. A soul (Sis. Idika Peace) has since been baptised, while another (Sis. Chinenye Awoke) was restored, both after the mission. To God be the glory. Amen.
Digital Library
Both lecturers and students have continued to have access to the digital library and are putting it to good use. Materials are being downloaded for further study and preparation, and this resource promises to be a valuable tool for greater impact in teaching, learning, and ministry.
Challenge
One of our students (Bro. Igede Sunday) is battling kidney disease, which is affecting his full class participation. We continue to pray that God will both provide him with the resources to tackle the issue decisively and, through that, restore his health, Amen.
Conclusion
We deeply appreciate all who are helping make this mission a success. May the Lord richly reward each one for their sacrifices and labor of love. As we look ahead with faith and diligence, we remain committed to the continued training of men and women for effective ministry in God’s kingdom. With God’s guidance and provision, we stand firm in our mission to equip faithful servants for the Master’s work.
Respectfully submitted,
