Second Quarter Report (April–June 2026)
Introduction
With gratitude to Almighty God, we are pleased to present the Second Quarter Report (April–June 2026) of the Bear Valley Bible Institute Nigeria – Benin City Model Schools (Weekend Schools). We sincerely appreciate the leadership of the Bear Valley church of Christ, Denver, Colorado, USA, and all partners whose continued support makes the training of gospel preachers possible. Your partnership continues to strengthen the Lord's work in Nigeria.
Activities During the Quarter
The quarter was marked by significant academic, evangelistic, and spiritual activities.
Academically, instruction was successfully completed in three courses across our two study centers: 2 Corinthians, Information and Communication Technology in Ministry (Elective), and James. To teach the elective course, we engaged Mr. Osasun Idehen, a Lecturer at the University of Benin and a faithful brother in Christ, increasing our instructional staff from four to five. The instructors faithfully taught the courses, administered examinations, and the students recorded commendable academic performance.
Our practical evangelism, originally planned for Okhuhun Community, was relocated to Uteh Quarters because of security concerns. The outreach, held on 23 May 2026, was well attended by both instructors and students and provided valuable hands-on ministry experience.
Spiritually, the 30-minute chapel session held every Saturday continued to enrich the students' spiritual lives, promoting Christian maturity, biblical conviction, and commitment to gospel ministry.
Conclusion
By God's grace and through your faithful partnership, the Institute continues to make a meaningful impact on the churches of Christ in Benin City and its surrounding communities.
