Evangelism in Takoradi, Ghana

OPERATIONAL REPORT AUGUST 2026

1.     CLASSROOM WORK

We have successfully ended another month by the grace of God. In August, two short courses were studied. These courses were 1 Corinthians and the epistles of John and Jude. Full-time students were given a recess to mark the end of the academic term. This recess is from 21st August to 14th September. God has through His travelling mercies sent all the students to their respective families and congregations.

The month concluded the second term of the second year of their two years of Biblical studies. 

Our part-time students also continued their studies throughout the month.

2.     PERSONAL EVANGELISM AND BAPTISM

The work of evangelism is always ongoing. The gospel was spread throughout the month. There were several public preachings and also personal evangelism. God blessed our efforts with some baptisms. The pictures below show a one-week evangelism program that was organized by the congregation where I (instructor Douglas) preach.

3.     SEMINAR 2026

Praise be to the mighty name of God for this year’s seminar. The seminar was scheduled for the third week of the month. By the grace of God, it was very successful. It was well attended and the lessons were great. The seminar was on the theme “Church of Christ: the only hope of the world.” It was a special time for studies and fellowship.
