Upcoming Annual Lectureship in Taraba State, Nigeria

Dear brethren,

I am pleased to report on the progress of our work, facilitated by your support. Not only do we teach and lead evangelism efforts, but we also engage in continuous learning and improvement in our work and Christian lives, seeking to make a positive impact in our society. Our mission is twofold: preparing faithful men for leadership roles and reclaiming the lost for our Savior through the gospel, with the ultimate goal of transferring them from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of His dear Son, Jesus Christ. The past three months have seen our classes proceed without interruption, with courses in Islamic religion, Christian Ethics, and Old Testament 1, being taught by experienced instructors Ayuba David Yusuf, Elam Shokoronta, and Elkanah Itom Madaki. Despite a decline in student numbers (to seventeen) due to the farming season, our commitment to monthly evangelism and quarterly outreach remains unwavering, yielding four baptisms and one restoration. Our upcoming second annual lectureship on leadership training, scheduled for November, will feature local directors presenting papers. Following a recent visit to a congregation in Adamawa State, where we discovered all members were women, we seek approval to conduct an evangelism outreach in that community.

We continue to cover your prayers and support as we pledge to continue to put in our best for the work of the Master here in Taraba State and the North East at large.

Thank you and remain blessed.

Yours brotherly,

Madaki I. Elkanah
