Seventh Graduation held in Kisumu, Kenya
Dear brethren,
Finally, by God's grace, that long-awaited graduation ceremony of KSOP’s seventh class came to a conclusion. Though this seventh class began with the admission of twenty students, 18 of them managed to endure until August 29th, 2026.
Four congregations of the Lord's church from the U.S were present to grace the occasion. Among them were elders from Charlotte Avenue. In their midst were American instructors: Dr. Michael Paul Reese, Mike Rowand, and Peter Ray Cole.
Over ninety congregations of the Lord's church from within Kenya were represented. The graduates’ family members who attended had inexpressible joy. Many KSOP alumni of different classes, categories, and abilities were present. Some serve as preaching school directors, some serve as school deans, some as instructors and local church preachers. It was surprising that many potential students who have applied for the next intake also attended the ceremony.
This class totals the number of students trained at KSOP to be 119. Of these, 87% are actively involved in the Lord's work. The church in Kenya is gradually enlarging its borders as the number of trained preachers increases. This encourages us more than anything else. The Lord's work at KSOP is not in vain. We look forward to a period when Kenyan land will be saturated with local churches so that all can access the gospel preached to them and thus will fulfil the great commission of our Lord in this country and beyond.
Thanks for your continued prayers and support for the betterment of the Lord's work here. May the Almighty God reward you richly according to his unsearchable riches in Christ. below you will find photos taken during the ceremony.
Your brother and servant,
Elias Omollo
