Students continue Evangelizing on Summer Break in Kpalime
ACTIVITY REPORT – MAY 2026
Bear Valley Bible Institute
Introduction
We give thanks to God for His protection and faithfulness throughout the month of May 2026. This month was especially significant for our Institute, as it marked the end of the first academic term. The last two weeks were dedicated to intensive review sessions, followed by final examinations during the final week.
We sincerely thank all our partners and sponsors for their continued support, which directly contributes to the effective training of future servants of God.
I. Academic Activities and Practical Training
The instructors completed the term with great dedication and sacrifice. Their commitment extended beyond classroom teaching; they also accompanied the students into the field every Friday for practical evangelism and ministry activities.
These weekly outreach efforts allow students to immediately apply what they learn in class. They are an essential part of their training experience and help us continually improve our teaching approach so that we form not only knowledgeable students, but men who are fully prepared for effective ministry in the field.
By God’s grace, the fruit of this work was evident this month in two baptisms. We see this result as clear encouragement that the training is already bearing fruit in the communities.
According to our academic calendar, the term break runs from June 1 to June 30, 2026.
II. Activities During the Break
The break will not be a period of inactivity. Each student will be actively involved in ministry within local congregations. This involvement will allow them to:
· Support existing churches,
· Continue preaching and teaching,
· Gain further practical ministry experience.
In addition, students are expected to identify and visit locations where they hope to begin a new work after their ordination next year. During this period, they will conduct surveys and establish initial contacts.
Upon their return, structured evangelism campaigns and new church planting efforts can be organized based on the information gathered.
III. Resumption of Classes – Second Term
Classes will resume on July 3, 2026.
Second Term: July 3 – October 30, 2026
Seven (7) courses will be offered:
1. Biblical Geography
2. How We Got the Bible
3. Old Testament 5 – The Minor Prophets
4. Marriage and Family Life
5. Pastoral Epistles
6. Church History
7. Hebrews
This curriculum is designed to strengthen Biblical knowledge, doctrinal soundness, and pastoral preparation.
IV. Mission Activities During the Break
During this break period, Fidèle and I continue to work actively with evangelism teams in various regions, including the South, Bassar, Kara, and Dapaong.
We also visited Kpalimé to meet with leaders of a denominational program that collaborates with some of our courses. Following these discussions, we decided to provide them with the necessary teaching materials to ensure better continuity of the program in Togo.
These efforts help strengthen local partnerships and expand the impact of Biblical training throughout the country.
Conclusion and Encouragement to Our Partners
The month of May was a time of intense work and great blessings. Visible results, such as the baptisms and the growing involvement of students in field ministry, demonstrate the effectiveness of the training they are receiving.
Your financial, moral, and spiritual support plays a vital role in these accomplishments. Because of you:
· Men are being trained for ministry,
· Souls are hearing the Gospel,
· New works are being prepared to begin.
We sincerely thank you for your trust and commitment to this mission. Together, we continue investing in a lasting work that bears fruit for the Kingdom of God.
With gratitude,
Cephas and Fidele
