INRODUCTION

The month of April has come and gone. It is time to reflect on the activities. The school is grateful for all her supporters. The young persons that are getting training represents the future that we envisage. There is every need to keep the good work going. Despite the challenges, there’s hope for beautiful outcome. To the entire Bear Valley Family and the wonderful congregations and individually both locally and abroad. We are grateful for your unwavering support. God bless you more.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITES

Academic activities continued and culminated into the examination. The examination started on the 23rd of April and ended on the 29th. It was a successful outing. The teachers are busy grading the scripts. The projects and long essays are being concluded by the students. These marking of the scripts and grading of the projects are to enable the teachers to determine those eligible for graduation. We are just thankful for a successful end of examination.

LIBRARY

The activities at the library section is so intense. Students are engaging every related book to their project or long essay. The librarian is busy with guiding the students on the proper MLA citation and in providing such books as may be helpful to their work. Besides the long essays are term paper works. We are so grateful for the students’ engagements at the library. We pray for more books as the library grows.

EVANGELISM

It is interesting to note that churches are getting to invite NIATS students for evangelism at their church. Gradually, the interest is growing. In the month under review, the church of Christ 20 Opobo Road also made an invitation. It is the case that the church invites the students every second Saturday of the month. Secondly, the Church of Christ Umuobiakwa invited the staff and student of NIATS on the 18th of April. It was a one-day evangelism outreach. The director of NIATS spoke on the topic: “The Effect of Denominational Christianity in the Christendom.” The students are getting good field experience.

Moreover, in the month under review the director, Solomon Usim, in the company of the Nigerian Christian Hospital Chaplin, Chidi Chibunna, anchored the radio programme at BUZZ FM for the month. We solicit your prayers for a sustained radio podcast. Moreover, on Sunday the 5th of April, the Director and the Chaplin visited and worshipped with the new congregation at Amaeke Abam in Abia North to encourage the new congregation. After the worship, we went out for evangelism. We met an old man who has heard the gospel from one of preachers in Lagos. The follow up is on. We hope that he will yield this time around.

ADMISSION

The school has advertised for new students. The intake examination is slated for the 15th of May 2026. This is the usually the early intake examination. The late intake would be in August. It is hoped that more students would be admitted.
