OPERATIONAL REPORT FOR THE SECOND QUARTER, FROM

FEBRUARY 2026 TO APRIL 2026

INTRODUCTION

The second quarter report of 2026 activities started from 1st February 2026 to April 30th 2026. It highlighted the courses that are ongoing in this second year. The three days public preaching alongside with personal evangelism. The Greek tutor, Papa-Wood Samuel, came twice to introduce Greek Language to the diploma students. There was a Directors’ meeting at Doboro, Accra, two baptisms, and the receipt of one box of library books for the Bear Valley Bible Institute, Akim Oda.

THE ONGOINGCOURSES

The attendance of both the tutors and students under the period was very encouraging. They were reporting to school on time and also closing on time. The ongoing courses include:

·         Church History

·         Christian Leadership

·         Homiletics 2 (Practical Public Speaking)

PUBLIC PREACHING AND PERSONAL EVANGELISM

The New Town Church of Christ with assistance from the School organized three days Public Preaching in a suburb called Liberty Top. Three of our tutors were speakers at the programme. The students took part in the public preaching and on Saturday the whole school including students as well as the tutors participated in the personal evangelism. The two programs were successful.                                                    

TEACHING OF GREEK LANGUAGE

Papa-Wood Samuel, the Greek tutor, came twice during the period under review to teach Greek 1 (Introduction and Alphabet). He spent three days in each of the visits. Except Evans Obeng who had a motor accident and currently in a treatment home, all the students were present. By God’s grace he is responding to treatment.

DIRECTORS’ MEETING AT DOBORO, ACCRA,

The Director, Atama Emmanuel Yao participated in the Directors meeting on Friday 6th March, 2026 organized by brother Steven Ashcraft, West Africa Regional Coordinator and brother Kojo Acquah Beenyi, Regional Ghana Coordinator. The Director intern briefed the students and tutors on Our Primary mission which is EVANGELISM.The schools exist to:

  •   Train evangelists to preach the gospel and save souls

  •   Make academic programs to serve evangelistic effectiveness

  •   Produce capable workers for the harvest through quality education

  •   Fulfill the Great Commission through trained workers

  •   Transform every student into an active soul-winner

In other words, the Bear Valley Schools are tools for Evangelism. The success of the school is measured by:

  •   Souls saved through gospel preaching

  •   Churches planted in unreached communities

  •   Evangelists trained and equipped for ministry

  •   Graduates actively working in the Lord’s kingdom

  •   Communities transformed by the power of the gospel

The leadership structure which included Roles, Responsibilities and Unity were also discussed with tutors and students. The students were again reminded on Grading Standards which include:

  •   Minimum Passing Grade per Course: 60%

  •   Below 60% = Failed, must repeat course

  •   Minimum Overall Average for Graduation: 70%

  •   Below 70% = “Not Qualified Yet” on transcript

  •   Student may graduate but without certificate. The additional requirements:

144 credits completed, 4 campaign participation minimum, 12 MLA papers submitted and approved, and so on.

BAPTISM OF THREE PEOPLE

Based on the efforts of some students and by God’s grace, one man and two women were baptized into the Lord’s church during the period under review.

RECEIPT OF BOOKS FROM BVBI

During the period under review, the school has received one box of library books and we look forward for more of such items.   

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, the classes were ongoing sturdily. The marks of the ongoing courses would be added to the next report. The Greek 1 has been introduced by Papa-Wood Samuel and is ongoing. The students and tutors have been briefed on the grading standard and the Directors’ meeting at Doboro in Accra.
