PROGRESS REPORT (FEBRUARY – MAY 2026)
Introduction
We gratefully acknowledge God for His sustaining grace, strength, and abundant blessings upon the sponsors and leadership of the Bear Valley Bible Institute (BVBI). This reporting period marks another significant phase in the growth and development of the Ette Study Center.
The center has continued to make meaningful progress in deepening the scriptural understanding of students drawn from various congregations. This document represents the fifth formal report since the establishment of the study center, reflecting both academic and spiritual advancement.
Monthly Academic Report
February 2026
The course “The New Testament Church” was facilitated by Ameh Augustine.
This course highlighted the foundational principles and identity of the Church as revealed in the New Testament, emphasizing that the Church is:
Christ-centered in doctrine and practice
Guided solely by the authority of Scripture
Spiritually united in purpose and fellowship
Committed to salvation, discipleship, and spiritual growth
Students gained a clearer understanding of the nature, structure, and mission of the Church according to Biblical standards.
March 2026
In March, the course “1st and 2nd Peter” was taught by Faith Jonathan. The course was structured to address both doctrinal and practical aspects of Christian living.
First Epistle of Peter:
Encouragement to live holy and exemplary lives
Strength in the face of suffering and persecution
Understanding the believer’s identity in Christ
Reflecting Christ through righteous conduct
Second Epistle of Peter:
The necessity of spiritual growth and maturity
Holding firmly to the truth of God’s Word
Awareness and rejection of false teachings
Living in constant readiness for the return of Jesus Christ.
April 2026
During this month, lectures were conducted on the course “1st and 2nd Thessalonians,” facilitated by God’s Power. This course provided students with essential teachings on:
Living holy and disciplined Christian lives
Remaining steadfast in faith amidst challenges
Avoiding spiritual deception
Maintaining readiness for the return of Christ
The lessons strengthened the students’ awareness of Christian conduct and the importance of perseverance in anticipation.
Evangelism Outcome
Following the two-day Mega Evangelism Outreach held from January 30–31, 2026, in collaboration with the Church of Christ, Efeche (as reported previously), the impact has been significant.
The Gospel message reached a wide audience across the community
There was a notable increase in attendance and interest
Four (4) individuals were baptized one week after the outreach
This outcome demonstrates the effectiveness of the evangelism effort and the continued responsiveness of the community to the Gospel.
Ongoing Preparations
Preparations for another evangelism outreach scheduled for March are ongoing. Efforts include:
Strategic planning and mobilization of students
Community engagement initiatives
Prayer and spiritual readiness
These preparations aim to build on previous successes and further expand the reach of the Gospel.
Conclusion
The activities of BVBI Ette Study Center from February to May 2026 have been productive and impactful. Both students and ministers have worked collaboratively to promote evangelism and deepen biblical understanding. The academic programs and outreach efforts have contributed significantly to spiritual growth within the congregations represented.

We express our sincere gratitude to the management and staff of BVBI for their unwavering commitment and support toward the success of this program.
Special appreciation is extended for the provision of the laptop and e-library resources, which have greatly enhanced the learning experience and accessibility of study materials.
We pray that God will continue to strengthen, guide, and bless all those who have contributed to the establishment and growth of this noble initiative.
