We are profoundly grateful to God for completing the second quarter of 2026. This report highlights the major developments and activities at Bear Valley Bible Institute Nigeria, Abakaliki Center, from July through September 2026.

During the quarter under review, the following courses were offered:

All courses were taught in accordance with the Institute’s curriculum and academic standards. Students demonstrated strong enthusiasm, active participation, and a growing commitment to learning and spiritual development.
Lectureship
We held our First Lectureship on the 5th day of September, 2026. Over 150 persons (BVBIN students, church members, and preachers) from about 35 congregations attended the program.
We discussed the theme: VISIONARY LEADERSHIP FOR KINGDOM IMPACT. Under it, two topics were addressed: WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A VISIONARY LEADER? And HOW DOES VISIONARY LEADERSHIP IMPACT THE KINGDOM? The lessons were educational and soul-searching, prompting leaders to become more visionary. To God be the glory. Amen.
Digital Library
Both lecturers and students have continued to have access to the Digital Library and are putting it to good use.
Challenge
Our student (Bro. Igede Sunday) is still battling kidney disease; there have been improvements in his health within the last quarter. We continue to pray that God will both provide him with the resources to tackle the issue decisively and, through that, restore his health. Amen.
Conclusion
We deeply appreciate all who are helping make this mission a success: the Bear Valley Institute Leadership, the International Director, the Extension Schools Coordinator, the Nigeria Schools Managers, the Church of Christ 35 Onwe Road, staff and students. May the Lord richly reward each one for their sacrifices and labor of love.
As we look ahead with faith and diligence, we remain committed to the continued training of men and women for effective ministry in God’s kingdom. With God’s guidance and provision, we stand firm in our mission to equip faithful servants for the Master’s work.
Respectfully submitted,
Bro. Obeten Okoi Oka, PhD
