Graduation set in Luanshya, Zambia
September, 2026. Report
Introduction
We send hearty greetings to you brothers and sisters in the Lord. By His grace our prayer is that this report finds you in good health.
Once again we had spent the last month of September doing more of our practical work in evangelism. We also concluded our final quarter with brother Kennedy Mukuka. Our prayer is that we end well with graduating our students on 10th October, 2026. Our report is about more souls that are added to the sheepfold.
SOULS SAVED
We vigorously went on to evangelize in Luanshya district with all our students and other members of the church within Luanshya. Our work in His vineyard indeed had a good harvest, we had 7 souls added to the sheepfold and 4 restored, other 56 are the ones that requested prayers from the church. We, after coming from Kasama, received good news from where we preached in Kasama Northern Province in the month of August that 9 souls submitted to Christ through the waters baptism.
On the same development, we have recorded a total number of 41 restorations of which 8 are from Mbala where Reuben Mseka is preaching, 16 from the Copperbelt Province, 6 from Mtendere in Lusaka where Daniel Manyoni and Simon are preaching, and 11 from Southern Province where Clive, Tryvin and Daniel Kapata aee vigorously preaching.
We have received good news from South Africa where Vincent Kawala is studying, 5 souls have been recorded to have been saved through his preaching.
SUVIVAL SKILLS
We have continued with our school garden with some of our Alumni still working to improve their livelihood as they labor for the Lord. We have sold our vegetables and now, we have started planting tomatoes after treating the soil.
We have started planting other vegetables for the gardern to continue. We are proud to mention that most of our curent students are good gardeners, with a good support from their home congregations they will be able to sustain their lives.
MISHIKISHI
Mishikishi is a village 73 kilometers east of Luanshya in Masaiti District. People in this village are very receptive to the gospel, the congregation has started after Healing Hands International sank a borehole through brother Cephas Mwamba and students going there for preaching. The church has continued to grow though they are still meeting under a tree and sometimes where the borehole is sank.
We are expecting to do more in terms of evangelism to mature the congregation in that area, but we are still very limited in terms of logistics. We have included pictures with our meeting and preaching during our work in that village.
On the same development, our former student Simo Nkhazi in Mtendere is set to establish a new congregation and he has asked us to be present when they start. We are looking forward to this new beginning of a congregation in this area.
LESS THAN 5 DAYS TO GO
We are very excited as we see a great day for our current student body to graduate. Once again we have spread the news to the Copperbelt churches of Christ to come and witness this graduations
CONCLUSION
May the God of heaven, the shepherd of our souls bless the labor of your hands as you bless others. We would like to say thank you very much for your support.
(Matthew 5:16) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
In His service,
Cephas and Fred
