Serious about study in Kara, Togo

MONTHLY REPORT – NOVEMBER 2025

Bear Valley Bible Institute – Kara, Togo
Date: November 7, 2025

 Introduction

We give thanks to God for His unfailing faithfulness and for all the blessings He has poured upon the Bear Valley Bible Institute – Kara throughout the month of November 2025. This month was marked by the smooth continuation of academic activities, the weekly evangelism outings every Friday, and an atmosphere of discipline, seriousness, and perseverance.

The students demonstrated remarkable commitment, while the instructors provided consistent spiritual and academic guidance. The classroom remains the place where knowledge is acquired, but the field continues to be the place where this knowledge is immediately put into practice. Thus, the Institute continues to fulfill its vision: training faithful servants capable of combining sound biblical teaching with effective evangelistic action.

I. Academic Program for the Quarter

The Institute currently has 15 regular students, whose discipline, attendance, and desire for growth are very encouraging. They are progressing not only in biblical knowledge but also in spiritual maturity and Christian character.

Courses Offered (November 17, 2025 – February 15, 2026)

1.      Old Testament I – The Law

2.      Hermeneutics I

3.      The New Testament Church II – Worship

4.      Denominational Doctrines

5.      Christian Evidences

6.      Life of Christ II – Gospel of Mark

The instructors have carried out their mission faithfully, ensuring not only the intellectual development of the students but also mentoring them in the practical application of what they learn, especially through the weekly evangelism fieldwork.

II. Evangelism Activities – November 2025

1. Evangelism in the Neighborhoods Around the University of Kara

Every Friday, instructors and students continued outreach efforts in the Bohou-Tozidè neighborhoods and the area around the University of Kara. The activities included:

·         Personal Bible studies in visited homes;

·         Distribution of tracts, brochures, and biblical materials;

·         Times of prayer and spiritual discussion with families;

·         Follow-up visits with individuals who had shown interest during previous campaigns.

These efforts opened new doors and increased interest in the Word of God. For the students, these visits strengthened their confidence, compassion, and ability to share the Gospel clearly and biblically.

2. Baptisms (1)

Evangelistic efforts carried out in October and November resulted in one baptism during the month of November 2025.
We praise God for these new souls added to the Church of Christ.

The students played an active role—from teaching, preparation, prayer, to assisting the candidates during baptism. This experience deepens their understanding of the Great Commission and reinforces their commitment to evangelism.

III. Spiritual Life and Student Involvement

Beyond academic work, the students remain actively involved in local congregations. They regularly participate in worship services by:

·         leading prayers,

·         directing congregational singing,

·         reading Scripture publicly,

·         assisting church leaders in various responsibilities.

These engagements contribute greatly to their spiritual growth, leadership development, and ministry skills.

IV. Upcoming Plans and Projects

Looking ahead, the Institute plans to:

1.      Continue the follow-up work with new contacts in Lama-Kara and the neighborhoods around the University.

2.      Due to the many activities scheduled for the end of the year—such as:

o    the Bible Camp (December 24–28, 2025),

o    visits to evangelism teams in both the South and the North,

o    the Evangelists’ Seminar in Dapaong (December 16–18, 2025),

o    the mobilization of congregations for their full participation in the December camp, regular evangelism campaigns will resume intensively in January 2026.

The main objective remains unchanged: to train faithful men capable of preaching the Word, planting new congregations, and strengthening existing churches throughout Togo.

Conclusion

The month of November 2025 clearly demonstrates the vitality and relevance of the mission of the Bear Valley Bible Institute – Kara. The four baptisms, numerous home Bible studies, regular outreach efforts, and student involvement in local congregations all testify to the impact of this ministry.

We thank God for His continuous support, and we express our deep appreciation to all who sustain this work through their prayers, financial support, and personal involvement. With perseverance and joy, we continue the mission: training and sending faithful servants to proclaim the Gospel throughout Togo, for the glory of God.

In Christ,
Cephas & Fidele
