Nsawam, Ghana students impact local congregations

BEAR VALLEY BIBLE INSTITUTE, NSAWAM, GHANA

FOURTH QUARTER REPORT, 2025

Introduction

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. The following were our activities for the final quarter of 2025, September to November.

Classroom Activities

There were three courses offered this quarter: Christian Ethics taught by Brother E.O. Larbi, Major Prophets taught by Brother Samuel Ntim-Sasu, and The Book of Revelation taught by Brother Wisdom Yirenkyi.

Impact on Congregations

Our students continue to teach and preach in their local congregations, making a significant impact. We attended the burial service for the mother of one of our alumni, Isaac Osae. Every single part of the service was led by Bear Valley alumni, particularly from the Nsawam extension. Furthermore, our current student, Daniel Obeng, is hosting the annual Amasaman area Bible lectures for this year. The praise we hear about our current students reflects the sound teaching and training they receive from our instructors. May this continue long into the future.

Plan for Next Year

Quarterly community radio preaching: We hope to resume the quarterly community radio preaching program next year. This year’s difficulty was due to the Accra to Nsawam road construction, which made commuting to the Friday meetings very difficult for most of the students. This program will serve as a means of giving the students another avenue for practice.

Student Profile

Brother Stephen Nyarko is the student we are focusing on for this quarter. He was baptized in 1999 at Kintampo in the Bono East region of Ghana. Recently, Brother Nyarko was appointed as preacher at the Nsawam Central church of Christ, a congregation he has attended and served for years. He works as a sales supervisor with Airtel-Tigo, a telecommunications network company in Ghana. He is one of the leaders in his class and is very vocal in his praise of the school. In an interview with him, he said, “I’ll give this school an 8/10.”  We are happy to have him with us.

Conclusion

We are grateful for Bear Valley’s assistance during this quarter. We pray for God’s blessings in this regard. And brethren, please continue to pray for us.
