Harvest of souls in Guinea
GUECKEDOU BEAR VALLEY BIBLE INSTITUTE ACTIVITY OPERATIONS REPORT FOR NOVEMBER 2025
The year 2025 is fast running to a close and we are grateful to Almighty God for His abundant grace. Equally, we appreciate all those of you who support us for all the success we continue to make here in Guinea. Again, the month of November was another of great success. We continue with lectures, training men in and out of the classroom. We also conducted one evangelistic campaign and planted 1 congregation. Our students are continuously engaged in personal evangelism and follow up works with the multiple congregations being planted around Gueckedou. In addition, the evangelistic teams planted several new churches during the month of November. Below are the details of these events.
Student Evangelistic campaign:
We started this month with a 3 days evangelistic campaign, 7th to 9th November conducted in a well known stubborn for gospel reception village of Foniassou, which is in the Tekoulo souspréfecture. It was an open air preaching followed by a house to house evangelism. Indeed, the ground was hard and so the initial conversion was only 2, but as weeks passed by with the follow up visits, some of the people are beginning to gain interest. Sooner or later, we look forward to additional conversions.
Classroom:
November lectures started with brother Francis Lavaley who taught the book of Romans followed by the Dean of students, Antoine Fassa Tolno with the course - Stewardship. These 2 courses lasted to the end of the month with a successful outcome.
Personal Evangelism and Follow up works:
This exercise of follow up visits to churches is a regular routine especially now with the multiple congregations being planted around here every month.
In doing this, our students and staff also do some personal evangelism so that students Alphonse and Antoine converted 5 and 2 souls in the new congregations at Fandou-yoba and Sandia tongui (listed below) respectively.
The men of the team in Conakry, François and Francis did a good follow up work in central Conakry in the quarter of Kepe and were able to restore a family of 6 members. To the glory of God, these are now regular in worship at the congregation of Yembeya. The Director of the school, Francis S. Musa also made another follow up visit where he and the West Africa Coordinator, Steven Ashcraft met for 3 days (1st to 3rd Nov/25) to encourage the new congregation at Lola, near the borders of Liberia and Ivory Coast. That visit was also successful and the Sunday worship day was concluded with 4 additional baptisms.
Evangelistic teams:
As in previous months, our evangelistic teams are continuously on the field to fish out lost souls. For the month under review, the month of November, we conducted 8 campaigns, and were successful to baptize men and women in 7 of those areas when the following new churches were planted in these villages:
1. Fandou yoba in the Nongoa Sous-préfecture - 14 baptized on November 2, 2025
