New School in Bangalore, India off to great start

Greetings from BVBI-Bangalore, India.

1st Quarter Classes:

October: 21 – 24; Subjects: Biblical Studies - Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, Leviticus & Deuteronomy. 

November: 25 – 28; Subjects: Apologetics - How we got the Bible & Christian Evidences

December: 16-19; Elective Course – Cost of Discipleship

The Students:

There are 10 Students in Class and they are learning with great interest, and their joy in attending Bible classes is truly encouraging.

Campaigns:

1.Bro. Manjunath - 1) Channarayapatna Town, Hassana District, Karnataka.(for 12 People) / No Church of Christ in this town

                            2) Ranebennur Town, Haveri District, Karnataka. (for 17 People) / No Church of Christ in this town

                            3) Harihara Town, Davanagere District, Karnataka. (for 15 People) / No Church of Christ in this town

2.Bro. Santhosh -  1)  Halivana Village, Honnahalli taluk, Davanagere District, Karnataka (for 10 People) No Church of Christ in this village

                           2)  Nesvi Village, Herikere Taluk, Haveri District, Karnataka (for 12 People)No Church of Christ in this village

                           3)  Sunakal Bidire Village, Ranibennur Taluk, Haveri District (for 4 people)No Church of Christ in this village

3. Bro. Anjaneyulu - 1)   Narasarao Peta Town, Palnadu District, Andhra Pradesh (12 members in Church of Christ) 2)   Lingam Guntla, Palnadu District, Andhra Pradesh (for 3 People)

4. Adiseshu -  Adiseshu is an active member of the Mathikere Church of Christ. He has been given the opportunity by the elders to teach the church during the midweek Bible study. He is also visiting the church in Doddaballapura, which is 50 km away from Bangalore, where three families gather as a church in that town.

5. Srinivas & Philip - These two are members of the Adoni Church of Christ, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh. Their preacher, Bro. Sajeeva Rao, is 69 years old. Since he is elderly, these two are taking up his responsibilities. They are currently preaching at the Dhanapuram Church of Christ and the Nanapuram Church of Christ.

The other students are preparing to start their campaign. I am following up with them and encouraging them to begin, and they are likely to start by the end of the next quarter.

We are deeply grateful for the BVBI School, because it has played a vital role in building up the kingdom of God in our area. Through sound teaching, training leaders, and encouraging spiritual maturity, the school has become a great blessing to our congregation and community.
