Harvesting souls and food in Zambia
November 2025
Report
INTRODUCTION
Grace and peace to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus the Christ, you remain a blessing to all of us and co-workers in His vineyard.
Once again we have enjoyed the month of November, 2025 which has been very fruitful as far as strengthening congregations through meeting leaders and evangelism is concerned. Teaching Christ to others has indeed made us realize that, to make something strong and durable requires going deeper. The following are vital statistics that were recorded during the month.
MEETING LEADERS IN CHURCHES
We have realized that this is a moment especially here on the Copperbelt the church requires a steady voice of truth, so we used four days (only first days of each week in the month) to meet with different congregations on the Copperbelt province. We started with Luanshya, Mpongwe, Ndola and Chimgola. We discussed the unity in purpose and we also had good time to teach in first day of the week fellowships
Out of our mission, we saw that indeed the church need leaders with caliber, with conviction of their belief in God, compassion and unwavering commitment to Christ’s Church.
GOOD TIDING FROM OUR VISITATION
We thank God for being with us because, we discovered that one of the congregations was almost taken by the so called Instrumental Church of Christ, we thank God for our constantly meeting with them and the message reached to us in good time.
In our meeting on 16th November, where we met with both parties that is, those from “the church of Christ” who where twisting the gospel and claimed they established the congregation came back and they started teaching that it’s okay to use instruments, women and preachers wearing uniforms. After our meeting, the other group is meeting separately, we thank God because the truth still stands.
OUR TOMATOES READY FOR HARVEST
Well, as the Holy Spirit said through Paul, “brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:12-14.
While we are enjoying the fruit from our labor, we also intend to sell some in the community. Our goal is still the same, to learn and teach others as we train preachers and send them in the field of Yahweh.
BAPTISMS AND RESTORATIONS
We have had a good number of follow up Bible studies from evangelism which was done in October, and as a result our students have recorded 6 baptisms. The other 4 came from the church of Christ at Chibwe and we also received 3 from Northern through our former student Levy Silungwe. We recorded eleven restorations in Luanshya after the preaching of Austin Musonda and 8 were recorded in Ndola Lubuto.
We have recorded a total number of thirteen (13) baptisms and a total number of nineteen (19) restorations in the month of November
SHARING IS CARING
We established a congregation 19 kilometers west of our Institute and through contribution a church building was put up in 2018 -19 up to roof level. But when the entire world was struck with covid-19, membership went down and up-to-date, the church building which was built in 2018 -19 still stands without a roof. We have revived preaching in the area with our student body in 2025, but we know when the roof is put up it will help very much in evangelism and directing people to where the church building is. Right now we only have two families meeting there.
CONCLUSION
We are eternally grateful for the partnership that we have with you in the Lord and the financial support that we have continued to receive from Woodland Oaks Church of Christ.
May God continue blessing you in all your endeavors!
In His service,
Cephas and Fred
