Greetings from Cameroon:
In Cameroon we will say "n'a small small monkey di climb tree." A journey with a thousand miles begins with a step. It has really been a long since the school in Mbanga has experienced such a great blessing. We still have so many requests that would help to push the Lord’s work in Cameroon but we also understand that things are really challenging not only in Cameroon but even in the entire world, the U.S. included. But we also know that God will always make a way out for his children.
Since the month of October will be very intense, due to the elections in Cameroon, we have pushed our alumni campaigns back so that they will end earlier. The various alumni campaigns have already scheduled a date which will be the same for all the sub zones both in the Akwaya zone, the Bafia zones in French Cameroon, the northern part of Cameroon and the General alumni.
The church of Christ in Mbanga shall be hosting a zonal sister’s seminar for the francophones come October 24. Despite the busy schedule of activities, we still think souls because evangelism is our mission and our mission is evangelism.
There shall be a one-week mission tour to visit some congregations and to also see how the preacher's and graduates are doing in the field.
Our short course program was really good with minister Yakouba, who taught the students while minister Kiteba taught the wives of the students.
Our weekend evangelism is also improving as time goes on with the new batch of students.
Some have been working in Mojuka Peage with brother Giresse and a precious family was baptized yesterday. Also, by the special grace of God, we are expecting another great family to be added into Christ.
The staff and students are doing pretty good at the moment.
Please commit this batch of students into the hands of God as the devil is at work and is always planning to ruin and frustrate the students.
The Emerald Bilingual complex that is both the primary and secondary school has resumed studies. We are already in our third week. It all started well as the Lord brought us all back safely with no casualty during the holidays to the pupils, the students, or the staff.
Our chapel programs are ongoing and we are talking about love in this first semester. Our Christian brothers are using their gift of preaching during our morning devotional programs and our chapel activities.
Those who received the scholarship last year came with words of appreciation to the school and we transfer them to the donors, especially to Mama Nancy for the support of the Christian education for the students and pupils of Emerald.
We are really grateful to have a family of good will like you.
From your humble servant Ititi Benedict
