Haiti Report
The International School of Theology continues to reach out to lost souls amid increased gang violence. The school has thirteen full-time students who meet when they are able. Although we have not been able to use the IST campus for approximately four years, classes have continued. We have had to relocate several times due to safety concerns, but the students and teachers continue to meet when possible. There are days when some of the students cannot reach class due to roadblocks by the gangs. The students and local preachers have formed a network of communication to ensure the safety of the students, teachers, and members of the body of Christ. The UN Security Council has agreed to deploy an additional 5,500 troops to support efforts aimed at addressing the unrest.
While the unrest continues, families are threatened, and thousands have been killed, the power of the gospel continues to move forward. In the first seven months of 2025, one hundred and ninety-five souls obeyed the gospel, and three new congregations were planted—the result of our teachers and students' continued outreach in the community. Not only are the students and faculty reaching the lost, but they also continue to find ways to strengthen the church. During September, they hosted Ladies' Day, featuring several congregations, as well as a Christian men's conference. The attitude of the Christians is, "We cannot allow the work of Satan to stop the work of God."
Please continue to pray for the work in Haiti. God has given us an open door for the message of Christ to be proclaimed. The school's work is reaching every corner of Haiti and beyond. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement.
