Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ from staff and students of the Southwest School of Evangelism (SWSE), Ibadan and the satellite campus in Lagos state, Nigeria and my fellow WBSFUW in South West.
During our one week break, from May 8-15, 2015, our students worked effectively with the church leaders of their respective congregations and five converts and seven restorations were recorded. Brother Nnamdi Blessing Eze reported the conversion of a soul at Amaorji Nike, Enugu state. Brother Emmanuel Okpachui also reported the conversion of three souls at Baybria village, Ukpe, Cross River state, while brother Jonathan Tsado reported the conversion of a soul at the Ilorin congregation, Kwara state. Brother Festus Ayoo reported the restoration of two at Ado-Ekiti and brother Ilori Gbenga reported the restoration of two brothers at the Aparadija congregation, Ogun state, while brother Emmanuel Nwaorji reported the restoration of three brethren at Ilisan in Ogun state.
LEADERSHIP SEMINAR: On May 5-6, 2015, I and brother Dele Shotola (one of the SWSE graduates and fellow WBSFUW) attended this year’s seminar at WNCC, Abeokuta, Ogun state with brother Dairo Joseph, brother Paul Akinwale, brother Ezekiel Osho, brother Akinyoola Gabriel, and brother Abiola Joseph Olusoji. Three thousand copies of VOTI vol. 83 were freely distributed during this seminar. On May 23, 2015 at SWSE Enlightenment seminar, I and brother Dairo Joseph were the chief speakers, while brother Akinola David and brother Mfon Etim served as contributors. One thousand copies of VOTI vol. 83 were shared to some of the participants.
The SWSE foundation and board members met for an hour immediately after the class to discuss the upcoming 12th annual lectureship and graduation of August 26-28, 2015 and our proposed BVBI school at Lissam in Taraba state.
REPORT FROM OUR GRADUATES: Brother Monday Ofem, preaching at Afuze in Edo state, reported the conversion of four (brother & sister Henry Osala and two of their relatives, Favour & Success) and the restoration of two in his station. Brother Ajiteru Olufemi, preaching at Ikare Akoko reported the conversion of one (brother Chibuzor Eze) and the restoration of one brother in his station, while brother Matthew Adeyemi, preaching at the Igbesa congregation in Ogun state reported the conversion of two brothers and another brother in the month of May 2015.
God’s power was seen in Ossai as brethren reported the conversion of one soul at the Odolu congregation in Kogi state, while brother Matthew Odey reported the conversion of two brethren at the Maryland congregation in Lagos as the result of Mission Printing materials.
WEEKEND EVANGELISM: Our weekend evangelism at the Egbeda congregation in Ibadan on May 23 under the leadership of brother Kayode Solomon Eniafe resulted in the conversion of two brothers on May 24, while as of May 30 at Butubutu there resulted in the conversion of a young girl.
Beloved, I taught on “Worshipping God” on May 17 and on “A Mindset for Worship” on May 24 at the Onikokoro / Gbongudu congregation, Ibadan, while brother Gabriel Ishom (SWSE year 2 student) admonished the saints on “If I perish” on May 24 and brother Lawrence Dada taught today on “Church Discipline,” while Makinde John admonished the church from 1 Peter 3.
