Power-packed And More...

Simply saying the past week was power-packed would be a gross understatement. Words cannot adequately express the incredible nature of the week at the Freed Hardeman Lectureship. We know the lessons were powerful, the singing euphoric, and the fellowship nothing short of divine this side of heaven.

We are thankful to have an opportunity to share in this event each year and the staff of the extension program was able to meet for two days to discuss various areas of the work. Taking time to discuss the work of each location and what can be done to improve the areas lacking, serves to enhance the development of extension training. Each year we take steps to grow and this year was no exception.

In addition to our discussions about the work, we were also able to hear about three new possibilities where Bear Valley is looking to partner in the training of preachers. The announcement and development of these new locations is forthcoming. We ask you to be praying about our efforts and the growth of the program as we work together to fulfill God’s will in training men to preach the gospel of Jesus.

One of the quotes from the week in our staff meeting that is worth keeping in mind: “I am so busy doing my stuff I don’t have time to evangelize, but he is so busy evangelizing, he doesn’t have time for all the other stuff.” We all felt it was a thought worth considering.
