Old friend becomes new brother in Wotutu, Cameroon

Dearest in Christ,

Greetings from this part of the globe in Cameroon. We are very glad to share with you what made news here in Cameroon in the church and with the work of the Bear Valley Bible Institute Cameroon - Wotutu. We do hope you are doing great in all that you are doing for the Lord there.

After fruitful mission work in different villages and congregations around the country, our students are back in the classroom where they are receiving more training to be better equipped for the task that is ahead of them. We started this batch with 19 students, but we are now left with 16. We have seen some whom we know will not be able to academically meet up with the training.

Our mission, which is to reach out to souls, is still our priority. We are not leaving any stone unturned in trying to make sure that the mission of the school is being held up high. Our graduates are also very supportive of the dream because they have been here in the school. They also do all that is in their power to assist our current students whenever the need arises in the mission field. Minister Oliver Anthony was very happy to trek 4 hours from another village to meet some of our students, and to be part of the house-to-house evangelism, all in a quest to help some precious souls to get out of darkness and be moved into His marvelous light.

Some think that house to house evangelism is an old fashioned way of evangelizing communities, but it is working for us because the modern ways are not readily available in all of our communities. Television signals and internet connections are not common in all communities. Therefore, we are bound to still continue with our old fashion way of meeting people in their homes or on market squares to physically point to them the word of truth.

As our students go out on weekend evangelism or mass evangelism, ample opportunity is given to them to preach and teach in different congregations. This is really helping them to gain great experience in their training.

We gave exhortation to our new brother, Raymond Mbonde, after his baptism. He came with his aunt and his fiancée to worship with us.

 Raymond Mbonde is my friend from 33 years ago but he left Cameroon to move to South Africa. He spent a great deal of his life there but he is back in Cameroon now and has decided to be worshipping with us for the past 3 months. He saw the truth, had confidence in his friend, but most especially read the truth as it is documented in the Bible. He exclaimed and told me that he is happy that he is alive to see these truths. He never hesitated to obey it in baptism. Please keep our new brother Raymond Mbonde in your prayers, as we are sure that he will take the gospel to his large extended family. We pray that some of them may also see the truth.

 As our yearly theme, “Kingdom Expansion,” continues to unfold, we do fellowship in different locations around the Wotutu community where our Christians live. We invite their neighbors to be a part of our home Bible study. It is also a direct way to share the gospel to them.

Plans

Mission work in progress is for mass evangelism in the months ahead around Limbe and the west coast of Cameroon. Please keep this dream in your prayers. It is a very vast area with many people, but the influence of the church of Christ has not been felt strongly enough yet.

Effective campaigns in Zimbabwe

 JULY 2025 NARRATIVE REPORT

INTRODUCTION

BVBIZ is in its practicum season. Much of this report revolves around the student and the field. In July, one congregation was established, 33 souls baptised, 4 restored back to the Lord, and over 250 reached with the unadulterated Word of God.  These and more, are explained in greater detail below.

1.0 TERM ENDS

The students’ fourth term ended successfully on the 13th of July. The term ended with campaigns at Mutora Growth Point and Mazowe. Great appreciation to all students and teachers for mutually working together to ensure that the term was a success. The following subjects were taught and completed successfully: Church Leadership, Christian Spiritual Formation, Marriage and Family Development, Greek II, Research Methods, 1–3 John, Advanced Homiletics, and Church History. Further, every effort was made in preparing the students mentally, spiritually, and practically for the practicum, which was due to commence on the 6th of July.

  2.0 THE BULAWAYO INVITATION

On the 4th of July, BVBIZ students and teachers left campus to attend an all-night service at the Bulawayo Central congregation. This marks the second time wherein the school is invited to such an event. Other congregations were also invited for this service. All speakers were our students, whilst a few had the opportunity to lead in songs. This is always an uplifting event for all attendees and the school. Great appreciation to the Machingura and Mlangeni (Jnr) families for providing supper and breakfast, respectively, to the BVBIZ team.

3.0 CAMPAIGNS

Every term, BVBIZ undertakes one to two campaigns, which are geared towards providing students with several competencies needed in the field of ministry. One campaign was held at Mutora Growth Point in Midlands, whilst another was held at Mazowe in Mashonaland Central.

3.1 MUTORA CAMPAIGN

From 7 to 13 July, 2025, half of BVBIZ students and staff conducted a dynamic evangelism campaign in Mutora Growth Point, Gokwe Nembudziya, with the goal of planting a Church of Christ congregation. The team was composed of experienced preachers who included brothers Mutichu, Madyira Jnr, Madyora snr, Kufa, Mubi, Mupanduki, Tiyani and the six student evangelists. They engaged in various outreach activities, including door-to-door visits, open-air preaching, evening services, and school-based Bible studies. These efforts reached over 50 households and several schools, culminating in the baptism of eight individuals and the successful establishment of a new congregation. The campaign was well-received by the local community. A donated PA system from the community enhanced the effectiveness of public preaching, and Bible materials were distributed to interested residents. Despite the success, the busy nature of the Growth Point poses challenges for consistent church attendance and spiritual focus. Continued support and discipleship are essential to ensure the congregation’s growth and stability. The campaign demonstrated the power of field evangelism as a core element of BVBIZ’s training and mission.

The positive outcomes of the Gokwe Nembudziya campaign highlight the importance of collaborative ministry and community engagement in church planting. The involvement of ministers from nearby congregations—such as Gokwe Centre, Shurugwi, and the local area—provided credibility and encouragement to the new church. Evangelists not only preached but also built relationships, laying a foundation for long-term spiritual development. The logistical support, including the PA system and Bible materials, played a crucial role in reaching a wider audience. However, sustaining the momentum will require strategic follow-up, regular visits, and prayerful commitment from everyone. Zivanai Mubi, a 2024 graduate, will temporarily oversee the church and follow up with all those who were reached throughout the campaign. The young man requires financial support to keep the work alive. The institute remains dedicated to the planting of new congregations and views this campaign as a testament to the effectiveness of BVBIZ’s hands-on evangelism. As Romans 10:15 reminds all those who care the lost soul, … those who bring the good news carry a beautiful mission—one that BVBIZ continues to fulfil with passion, tenacity, and purpose.  

3.2  MAZOWE CAMPAIGN

As the Gokwe team left BVBIZ on the 7th, the Mazowe team left campus on the 6th around 3.30am for Mazowe. The team was led by the director and the Mazowe resident minister, Lovemore Manyanhaire. The team arrived in time for the church service and received a warm reception from the local church members. Despite travel challenges, the team was welcomed with enthusiasm and immediately engaged in worship, with various students leading the service. Bro. T. Mabika delivered a powerful sermon encouraging spiritual vigilance whilst the Director outlined the week’s mission, urging collaboration with the congregation. The service concluded with a call to restore fallen members and attract new converts. This marked the beginning of a spiritually charged week of evangelism.

The evangelism campaign commenced the next day. As with all BVBIZ campaigns, nearby preachers are invited to provide some experience to the students. Those who came include brothers Munhupedzi (Glendale), Tengulachepa (Mvurwi), Nyamombe (Seke) and Muzoma (Concession). Brother Howard Suwari, one of their teachers, later joined the team as well. Each day began with a devotion and ended with a devotion. The team divided into three groups to maximize outreach, employing strategies such as door-to-door visits, open-air preaching, evening services, preaching at Police parades and school assemblies. Open-air sessions proved especially impactful, drawing large crowds in public spaces like bus stops, school grounds, market squares, where sermons on salvation and baptism were delivered with clarity and conviction. The Pact Missionaries-donated PA system beamed to the ear of everyone far and near. The speakers spoke without fear whilst the other team members distributed tracts, attended to questions and further elaboration to any who dared to ask. This fostered meaningful engagement with the community. Evening devotions followed each day’s outreach, offering spiritual nourishment and inviting locals to worship. These services featured inspiring sermons and uplifting hymns, culminating in the baptism of seven souls. The campaign left a lasting spiritual impact on the Mazowe community, strengthening the church and demonstrating the power of united ministry. Great appreciation to the local preacher, his family and the church for taking care of everyone.

4.0 FIELD PROGRAM (INTENSHIP) UPDATES

BVBIZ students on the conventional class undertakes one year supervised practicum whilst the parallel class takes a minimum of two years to do the practicum. Field practicum officially began on the 14th of July. The parallel class continued to make progress in the field baptizing 8 prospects in the month. With the 2024-2026 Full time class also in the field, total baptisms reached 33 with 4 restorations. 0ver 170 prospects were reached with the word.

6.0 TOILET UPGRADES

Two of the school’s toilets in the hostel were upgraded. This has been a waited development by students so as to ease pressure on the available toilet seats. 5 more are needed in all the toilets.           

7.0 UPCOMING PREACHERS’ RETREAT AND AGM

From 14 to 17 October, BVBIZ will host its annual Preachers’ Retreat—an event open to all active field preachers. The program aims to rejuvenate and re-empower those ministering in the field. On the 18th of  October, the school will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM). All stakeholders are invited to this key meeting to deliberate on institutional matters. 8.0 BVBIZ MAY 2026 STUDENT RECRUITMENT

BVBIZ has begun recruiting potential students for the 2026-2028 intake. The school can only accommodate a few students, so applicants are encouraged to apply early to avoid missing this great opportunity. Couples are also welcome to apply. Applicants must submit the following documents:

CONCLUSION

July marked a transformative shift as activities moved beyond the classroom and into the field—where these trainees truly belong. As a vital stepping stone toward their future work, the BVBIZ internship program equips graduates with the practical skills and spiritual depth needed to thrive. Thanks to their dedication, the guidance of their teachers and other supervisors, and the support of our partners, a new congregation was established, and 33 lives were joyfully brought to faith. The next report will share the progress and impact of the second month of this field journey. Classes continue in Tirupati, India

Reporting Letter for the month of July-2025.

Respected director Mr.Keith Kasarjian, our coordinator Mr. Mark Reynolds, and all the prayer partners; greetings to you in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus christ. We pray that this letter may serve us to find you in good health. We thank you very much for your continual prayers and encouragement for the smooth and successful function of the BVBI-Tirupati-India. We are ever grateful to you for your love and concern for the young people in India to train them well to reach the lost souls with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I would like to submit the brief report for the month of July-2025.

Classroom work: We focus on completing the classroom work as per the syllabus given by BVBI. In the month of June-July we have completed Genesis to Deuteronomy,, How we got the Bible, Christian Evidences, God’s plan of salvation and personal evangelism. Appreciate all the students for their active part in attending regularly, writing exams and memory verses.

Campaigning : In the month of July we have conducted Campaignings at Gunapadu village and Chennareddi colony.

Staff meeting: We conducted staff meeting and discuss about the school progress and spiritual progress of the students.

Zoom meeting:- our BVBI-Tirupati has started online bible study to help the people to teach them word of God, whoever is not able to attend for the regular course may attend the online classes and learn the word of God. Weekly two days during early hours we conduct the zoom meeting. Right now we are teaching the book of Romans.

Home Bible studies:-  People in our city are busy during the day time, they are available in the evening, we get their appointments and conduct home Bible studies in the evening times. We involve the students for the home bible studies.

Visiting Gunapadu-Village:  The preacher in Gudnapadu village passed away who was working with Gunapadu church of christ. We have visited this local church and encouraged all the members to be strong in faith.

Visiting Chennareddy colony:- The preacher at Chennareddy colony is 85 years old and became sick and weak. We have visited 4 time and encouraged the local church there at Chennareddy colony.

Visiting Poolathota Village:- Poolathota village congregation meets at Mr.Suresh house, unfortunately Mr.Suresh died with cancer one year ago. We have visited poolathota-village and encouraged all the members.

Audio Bibles for the blind people:- we have distributed audio bibles for the 25 blind people in the month of July.

Graduates become teachers in Cebu, Philippines

Latest News from Bear Valley Bible Institute - Philippines

April, May, June 2025

Our school director, alumni and current students had a productive summer as they had the opportunity to teach, evangelize and attend fellowships and lectureships in Cebu and in Negros island. This April, our school had a short break from classroom discussion to give the students the chance to be a part of the church activities in the region.

Our first Ministry and Mental Health Lectureship in April was a successful event attended by over 50 ministers and members of the church coming from different congregations in Cebu. Bear Valley Bible Institute-Philippines organized this lectureship and we partnered with the church in Toril, San Remigio, Cebu to create awareness among ministers and members of the Lord’s church the importance of taking care of our mental health. Our school director and three of our alumni, Danilo Torniado, Nino Rey Felicano and Luisito Oliveros were among the speakers in this Ministry and Mental Health Lectureship. Before the event closed, we witnessed the baptism of two souls, a mother and her daughter, as they received our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the waters of baptism.

We resume our class in May as brother Nino Rey Felicano, taught a class on the book of Genesis. He did a great job teaching the history of humanity and Israel, the chosen people of God. Also, we had the opportunity to visit and help the congregation of brother Nino with their Vacation Bible School in which 70 children from the village came and heard the story of Jesus. One of mothers who accompanied her children to the Vacation Bible School decided in her heart to receive our Savior in the waters of baptism. We rejoice with the angels in heaven for her decision to receive the free gift of salvation.

Finally, brother Danilo Torniado, BVBIP alumni, had the opportunity to “entrust the Word” to faithful men in June as he taught a class on Christian Evidences. This is one of his favorite courses in Bear Valley and he did a great job teaching the Evidences of our Christian faith to our students.

We always thank God and our Lord Jesus Christ for the great opportunities He had given to us this year and we pray that He will continue to bless the work He entrusted us to do.

"Train to preach, preach to plant, plant to strengthen" in Togo

MONTHLY REPORT – JULY 2025

Bear Valley Bible Institute – Kara, Togo      
Date: July 31, 2025

1. Introduction

We give thanks to God for His continued faithfulness toward the Bear Valley Bible Institute in Kara. The month of July 2025 was marked by the continuation of our courses, evangelistic activities, and strong collaboration between teachers and students. Although some students experienced mild health issues (headaches, dizziness, abdominal pain), each of them received appropriate medical care at the hospital. We consider this part of the normal human experience, and we praise God for their quick recovery.

2. Student Enrollment and Follow-Up

At the beginning of the month, we had 19 students enrolled. However, a newly admitted brother struggled to adapt to the academic pace and training requirements. After discussion, he decided to withdraw. Currently, 18 students are continuing their training with regular attendance, strong commitment, and discipline.

In addition to classroom instruction, students are actively involved in fieldwork, including:

·         Door-to-door evangelism in nearby neighborhoods,

·         Visits and teaching in local congregations,

·         Organizing Bible study groups.

These activities allow students to apply the lessons learned, improve their communication skills, and confront the spiritual realities of ministry work.

3. Central Mission of the Institute

The Institute’s goal is to train balanced evangelists – men who can faithfully present God’s Word, lead exemplary lives, and contribute to the spiritual and numerical growth of the churches. Our motto remains:    

"Train to preach, preach to plant, plant to strengthen."

We emphasize a holistic formation, combining rigorous biblical instruction, missionary practice, spiritual discipline, and Christian character.

4. Internal Organization

· Monthly Teachers’ Meeting: A meeting was held to plan, delegate tasks, exchange pedagogical ideas, and improve coordination.

·  Housekeeping and Maintenance: At the end of each month, students carry out regular cleaning and maintenance of the dorms, bathrooms, kitchen, and library.

5. Courses for the Second Quarter (June 16 – October 30, 2025)

The six current courses focus on Bible understanding, personal ministry development, and the ability to evangelize and plant churches.

6. Suggestions to Improve Mission and Teaching Work

1. Create weekly evangelism teams, supervised by teachers, to reinforce student mentorship during outreach.

2. Organize a monthly public seminar, led by students, to enhance their teaching experience before a general audience.

3. Launch small church planting projects in unreached areas of northern Togo under the Institute’s supervision.

4. Increase the use of visual and digital tools in classes: Bible maps, timelines, PowerPoint presentations, etc.

5. Train students in local church administration, including report writing, financial management, and communication.

7. Conclusion

We are grateful to Bear Valley for its faithful support. The work is progressing well, though there are always challenges. We remain committed to upholding the vision and standards of Bear Valley while adapting to our local context.

More souls saved in Chad

Dear Coordinator,

Grace and peace be to you from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ who reconciled us to God through His sacrificial death and then entrusted us with His Gospel so that all men may be saved. First of all, please accept the greetings of our Bible school as you spare no effort to coordinate its activities and support its evangelistic needs. Please also receive warm greetings from the congregation of the Bear Valley Training Center, MOUNDOU-CHAD.

Dear Coordinator, we would like to use this letter to update you on the progress of our activities within the Institute for the month of July of this year. We will focus specifically on courses and vacations, evangelism, and announce the upcoming resumption for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Courses, Internships, and Vacations:

The courses scheduled for the third quarter went very well overall. However, we slightly modified the internship and vacation period. We sent the students on their internship and vacation earlier than planned. The reason for this slight change is that when we sent them on vacation from April 19th to June 8th for field work (to clear and sow the fields), it was not raining. It started to rain in early July. To allow our students to catch up, they had gone on an internship two weeks before the date you scheduled. They will also return three weeks before the start of the fourth term, that is, on August 17th instead of September 7th. We apologize for this unilateral change. We hope you will forgive us.

Evangelism:

Speaking of evangelism, God continues to open doors for us in Moundou, in the localities where our graduates reside, and even in new localities, as the Gospel is preached by us. We had a total of four (04) baptisms, including one in Moundou. We pray for these souls, souls saved and added to the Church. We regularly receive invitations from the villages surrounding the one where we established the new assembly on June 15th, following a teaching given to members of the ACT denomination (Christian Assembly in Chad). The field trips I've been making since May, thanks to the new motorcycle you donated, reveal many possibilities for establishing Church of Christ congregations and even for restoring old assemblies. The challenge that remains is the means of transporting students for public campaigns. We continue to pray for a student transport bus.

Fourth Quarter:

Regarding the fourth quarter, everything is ready to start. However, we regret the fact that you will not be here for the New Testament class as the students have eagerly awaited your arrival. We pray for the authorities so that things will return to normal quickly. (Proverbs 21:1)

Mr. Coordinator, this is some information about our activities that we are happy to share with you from July 2025. We are always available for your relevant suggestions and comments. A Successful Quarter for Students in Abia State, Nigiera

Nigerian Institute of Arts and Theological Studies (NIATS) / Bear Valley Bible Institute (BVBI)

INTRODUCTION

NIATS/BVBI continues on an upward trajectory. The school is in a present that looks to a promising future. However, the future only comes when the present becomes the past. Therefore, as the school looks to an exciting future, it reflects on the past. Our gratitude goes to God almighty for His abundant grace and mercy. Our appreciation also goes to the entire Bear Valley family and the stakeholders of NIATS for their unwavering support.

OKORO’S BURIAL

July 2025 was the last month of the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The month was full of activities. The sorrowful event shall first be mentioned, as it is said, “He who laughs last laughs best.” It was the demise of our colleague, Mr. Okoro. He was one of three men who manned the school’s gate. He died following a brief illness, and was buried on July 14, 2025. Please pray for those who survived him, especially his wife and children.

LIBRARY

As of the month of July, the students were very excited to see the development that came in particularly from the library aspect.  They noted that printing of assignments will no longer be a burden to them.  Some of them said that "at least, they can boot on and also boot off computers. They can print, create files, folders, and they are beginning to use the Microsoft programs. E.g, Ms word. More importantly, some of them have bought android phones to enable them to navigate the digital library. 

GARDEN WORK

Good environment, good health, good health, good study for the students.

As of the month of July, the NIATS compound is very clean. This is through the effort of the gardeners and the school management by providing brushing machines and the necessary materials, such as fuel, engine oils, brusher lines, and key starters to make sure the garden work aspect is effective. Moreover, whenever the power supply goes off, the generator is put on to ensure that the students accomplish the academic task ahead of them.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES

NIATS/BVBI is a school. Yes! And learning is a typical activity here. Therefore, the mention of A-C-A-D-E-M-I-C-S (academics) arouses the community’s joy. The last two weeks of July were the most interesting weeks for the students. Actually, it was not a period of intensive academic works such as lectures, term paper research and writing, etc. Instead, it was the time when the much that had been given was required. Lectures ended July 11. And July 14 – 18 was a week for revision, as the students prepared for examinations that were approaching. They were also required to submit their term paper works and make presentations. The final examination tests were administered between July 21 and 25, and vacation for the semester began immediately. Returning to the subject of the future, the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session begins August 12. The school eagerly awaits this time, as it will mark the commencement of the Advanced Diploma program. The month will also usher in a new and balanced academic calendar. Pray more for NIATS/BVBI. The Lord is faithful!

Students and Staff in Ette, Nigeria, prepare for upcoming Mega Evangelism Program

Bear Valley Bible Institute Nigeria (BVBI) Ette Study Center. REPORT:  May to July 2025

This is another golden opportunity for me to say that the BVBI ETTE has been a spiritual growth for the church in our community. This is the second phase of our report since the establishment of this study center.

May Report

Lectures held on this month of May, with the course "Christian Ethics" facilitated by Faith Jonathan. This course provided students with the understanding of the system of moral principles and the Bible teaching of Christ. It equally guided the students in living a life that align with God’s will and love, impacting them on both personal behavior and social interactions. 

June Report

In June, the course "Bible interpretation" (Hermeneutics) was taught by Ameh Augustin. This course equipped students with the knowledge and skills to defend their faith and share the Gospel with others. The students were challenged to think critical about their beliefs and to be prepared to give an account of their hope.

July Report

The course "Personal Evangelism 1" was facilitated by Amos Mathias. This course explored the Biblical doctrine of salvation, highlighting God's plan to redeem humanity through Jesus Christ. The students gained a deeper understanding of the gospel, often with the intentions of converting them to Christianity, with other diverse methods of spreading the good news of Jesus.

Evangelism Report

In the month of May, the director of BVBI ETTE hosted the director of Enugu center, with preacher in ETTE participated in an evangelism outreach in the Odunku community. The outcome of this effort was remarkable:

1. The community, who were mostly gospel faith mission members, listened to our message, and they agreed that they will invite their pastors to come and confirm our message, and if we are right the promise to accept the gospel.

2. Members were strengthened by the lectureship held at our congregation in Ette, where the director visited to deliver the lesson.

3. Prospects within the community expressed interest in visiting the churches of Christ within them, indicating a potential for new growth.

4. A two day mega evangelism program hosted by the BVBI Ette planned to take place on 29 to 30th August is at the corner with hope of reaching at list a thousand lost souls with the gospel of Christ.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the activities of BVBI from May to July 2025 have been fruitful, with students and ministers working together to spread the Gospel and deepen their understanding of the Bible. We are grateful for the support and guidance of the management and staff of BVBI, and we look forward to continued growth and fruitfulness in the future.

SABO ONIBA/LAGOS ISLAND CENTERS REPORT

May-July  2025

Introduction

I am thrilled to report on the progress of Bear Valley Bible Institute's mission work in Nigeria, especially in Sabo and Lagos Island, a country with 25 recognized study centers presently. Despite the security challenges faced by our nation, our students and staff remain committed to spreading the Gospel and serving the Lord. We express our gratitude to God for the opportunities and blessings that have enabled us to make a meaningful impact in various parts of the country.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES IN SABO-ONIBA/LAGOS ISLAND:

Our academic programs are thriving in Sabo-Oniba and Lagos Island. In Sabo-Oniba, students have diligently studied the books of 1, 2 & 3 John, Preacher and His Work, and Godhead. Meanwhile, in Lagos Island, students have been engaged in Congregational Development, Minor Prophets, and The Christian Home. These courses have equipped our students with a deeper understanding of the Bible and prepared them for effective ministry.

Church Visits and Local Mission Work 

Our students and staff have been actively involved in evangelism and local mission work at Ikeja church this last quarter. We are grateful for the opportunities to serve as tools in the hands of God, spreading the Gospel and serving the community. Some notable activities include:

Evangelism in Ikeja church: where our students helped reach out to prospects and shared the message of salvation.

Teaching in Etegbin, Maryland and Ipara: where our students assisted in imparting Biblical knowledge to the local congregation.

Visits to Ogba and Ligali church in Lagos, Okpanam in Delta, and Doglas Street in Enugu, where I spent time in meetings and gospel work. I spoke in the matriculation program in Okpanam Study center.

LAGOS WBS ONLINE WORK: 

Our online program continues to thrive, with 3 active online study helpers and 123 active online students. We are pleased to report that:

- 5788 lessons have been completed

- 1618 certificates have been awarded

- 3 baptisms have been recorded this quarter.

Bear Valley Extension Schools in Nigeria:

We are excited to announce the establishment of 6 additional extension centers in different regions of Nigeria, bringing the total number of centers to 25. These centers provide opportunities for professionals in various fields to study the Bible and become effective teachers of the Word. We can confidently say that an average of 450 Disciples of Christ are learning in different locations in our country as a result of Bear Valley's efforts. To God be the glory.

Appreciation/Conclusion

We sincerely thank God for our development and are grateful for the prayers and support of Stoney Point Church of Christ and Bear Valley Institute's leadership. We anticipate more cooperation and expansion in our missionary endeavors. We pray that God will continue to lead and equip us as we serve in His kingdom, and we look forward to the opportunities and difficulties that lie ahead.

Introduction

We give all glory to God for His faithfulness throughout the second quarter of the year 2025. This report summarizes the activities, achievements, and challenges of the Bear Valley Bible Institute Church of Christ, Lafia, from April-July, 2025.

Academic Progress Enrollment:

Total enrolled students this quarter: non (0)

Courses Offered:

A total of 3 courses were taught during this quarter, and these including:

1.     The New Testament Church

2.     Biblical Interpretation 11

3.     Scheme of Redemption

Academic Performance:

Exams were held in June, and the results showed an average performance rating of 78%.

Spiritual Growth:

Weekly Devotionals: Held every Saturday morning before commencement of classes.

Evangelism:

3 outreach door to door knocking were conducted within the Agzaku and Kefinwanbe environment Lafia.

15 home Bible studies were initiated and three (3) souls were added to the Church as a result.

Plans for Next Quarter (July – December 2025):

1.     Classes hold from 8:00am – 4:00pm every Saturday.

2.     Bible seminar series for local congregations and evangelism indoor and outreach.

3.     Mentorship and leadership development for students

Conclusion:

REPORT OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE QUARTER FROM MAY 2025 TO JULY 2025

Introduction
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, and may glory and honor go to the Lord God Almighty for the privilege to serve. We appreciate very much the management of Bear Valley Bible Institute for this platform of service to the Lord.
The Kaduna Study Center continues the training of men and women in preparation for the task of preaching the gospel of our Lord and Savior, until all have heard. The center has experienced a very productive quarter of useful and engaging class activities and house to house evangelism outreach.
This report offers a detailed summary of the quarter’s activities and presents clear perspectives for the future.

1.     CURRENT NUMBER OF STUDENTS:
Presently, we have 14 students. One student dropped out this quarter, hoping to come back in August when the new semester begins.

2.     ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES – COURSES TAUGHT
·       ACTS OF THE APOSTLES was taught by David E. Ollo in May.
·       CHRISTIAN ETHICS was taught by Dr. Mohammed Bikang in June.
·       SCHEME OF REDEMPTION was taught by Agbamu J. James in July.
The courses were handled professionally, and all the students actively engaged in the training, demonstrating strong commitment, teamwork, a growing thirst for knowledge, and the outstanding performance in the exams.
This progress was possible as result of a conducive spiritual environment, dedicated supervision of the teachers, and the faithful support of our partners.

3.     ANOTHER CENTER STARTED IN KADUNA!
I am so thrilled and delighted to announce the beginning of a new center in Kaduna in July 2025 with sixteen (16) students. Dr Mohammed Bikang taught Language and Research in July. We appreciate very much the efforts of Brothers Keith and Chad in helping to ensure that the gospel is heard everywhere.

4.     EVANGELISM
Preaching of the gospel remains at the heart of the mission of Bear Valley Bible Institute. Our house-to-house evangelism outreach for the quarter was extremely successful with two (2) baptisms recorded and many outstanding prospects who are willing to have further studies with us.

5.     FUTURE PLAN:
a.     We are ready to host the first BVBI seminar in conjunction with the Church of Christ Nassarawa Kaduna on the 25th of October 2025 in Kaduna.
b.     The theme of the seminar is “The Importance of Digital Evangelism to Church Growth in the 21st Century.”
c.     A new semester starts on the 2nd of August 2025.
The first set of the students in Nassarawa center have successfully completed their 100 level and will start their 200 level in August.

Conclusion
We appreciate your supports for this program, and it is our earnest prayers that the Almighty Father continues to bless your efforts and all the supporters of BVBI.

Evangelism Report: Preaching the gospel of Christ is our hobby! In Ondo centre, The Church of Christ, Ayeyemi, Ondo City invited the School to join them in preaching the gospel in their locality! The evangelism fell on the same day for the School evangelism which is 31st May, 2025. All the students were there present doing the Lord's work! Ayeyemi area were combined in the efforts! Prospects names were handled to the Preach of the local Church for follow up! 

Also, in Akure center, preaching the gospel of Christ were fully carried out on the same day. The students and faculty went downtown of Leo area to preach the gospel of Christ! Their aim to to establish a local Church there in the nearest future. The students will revisit the area again in the future!

Graduating students were sent out for four weeks practicum in Evangelism to congregations of the Lord in Ondo area! They were sent to the following Congregations: (1) The Church of Christ, Yaba, Ondo City. (2). The Church of Christ, Oka, Ondo City. (3). The Church of Christ, Ayeyemi, Ondo City. 

Classroom Activities: The following class work were carried out in the cause of the months under reportage:

May, 2025, In Ondo City centre, Brother Godwin Emmanuel taught "Foundations of Missions"  while in Akure center Brother Rowland Matthew taught "Islamic Religion".

June, 2025, Brother Rowland Matthew taught "Congregational development"  in Ondo City while Brother Philemon Ohaebuka taught "Cost of Discipleship"  in Akure center.

July, 2025, Brother Philemon Ohaebuka taught Cost of Discipleship in Ondo City while Brother Rowland Matthew taught Congregational development in Akure center. All glory be to God Almighty for a successful completion of a fours Bible program.

Brother Bolaji Adebulugbe is one of the students in Ondo City. He got baptized through our Radio gospel program some years back! He is doing very well academically! He is married with three kids. He is 54 years old. His desires is to know the whole truth in the Bible! This prompted him to apply for the weekend Bible program with Bear Valley Bible Institute, Ondo State.

Miscellaneous Report: As a School, we taken care of our miscellaneous expenses because we have been supported adequately for this task! Thank you so much! We are very grateful.

As l have said earlier in this report, 10 of our students will be graduating this coming August in Ibadan ( 7 from Ondo City while 3 from Akure center). This is a golden opportunity for us! We will continue to make good use of this finest opportunity to train Preachers in Ondo State! Thank you for this privileges! All glory be to God Almighty, Amen.

New School continues Successfully in Okpanam, Nigeria

SECOND QUARTER REPORT – August 2025

School: Bear Valley Bible Institute – Okpanam Study Centre

1. Matriculation Ceremony

The matriculation ceremony for the 2025 academic session was successfully held on May 31st, 2025. The event marked a significant milestone for both the new students and the Okpanam Study Centre as we welcomed another group of dedicated men into the training programme.

Distinguished guests were invited to grace the occasion, including international directors Bro. Keith and Bro. Chad, as well as the national director Bro. Makinde. Although they were unable to attend due to unavoidable circumstances, Bro. Timothy Iwe ably represented them and delivered an inspiring address.

In his speech, Bro. Timothy gave a brief history of the school and emphasized the importance of one-on-one mentoring. He encouraged students to be consistent in their class attendance in order to meet the standards and expectations of Bear Valley.

Further remarks were given by:

• Bro. Solomon Usim, who highlighted the urgent need to train faithful gospel preachers who will boldly speak the truth and support the growth of the church.

• Bro. Christopher Dunia, who reminded students that their role goes beyond learning—they are to become producers of the truth, not just consumers.

In his welcome address, the Director of the Okpanam Study Centre Evangelist Okonta Joseph delivered a powerful message on the theme: “Training Men for the Vineyard of the Lord.” He described this period of study as a season of preparation, stressing that enrollment at the Bible school is not just academic—it is entry into God’s refining fire.

2. Academic Progress

A total of sixteen students matriculated this quarter. The following courses were successfully offered and completed:

• How We Got the Bible

• Christian Evidences

• Biblical Interpretation

Students were encouraged to actively participate, ask questions, and dedicate themselves to their studies both in and out of the classroom. The instructors reported strong engagement and a growing hunger for deeper knowledge of the Scriptures among the students.

Conclusion

The second quarter of 2025 has been both productive and spiritually uplifting. With the matriculation of new students and the continued commitment of our faculty and leadership, the Okpanam Study Centre remains focused on its mission: to train faithful men who will teach others also (2 Timothy 2:2).

We look forward to the next quarter with great anticipation and trust in the Lord’s guidance and provision.

School in Ikorodu, Nigeria, prepares for Upcoming Graduation

IKORODU STUDY CENTRE

The students and staff of Ikorodu BVBIN study centre are grateful to God and BVBI management for their support to keep the BVBIN IKORODU going. The school in IKORODU is pulling the crowd by spreading the gospel of Christ.

1. IKORODU STUDY CENTRE has 26 students. They are all punctual and regular in the class activities and outside evangelism.

2. Six of our students will graduate August 2025 at Butubutu Ibadan, Oyo State.

3. We had two campaigns. The third campaign will come on August 31st, 2025.

4. We had four souls that got baptized into Christ through our campaigns.

5. We have established a congregation at igboolomu.

6. In Ikorodu we have three instructors, they are: Bro. Mfon Etim, Bro. Okoro Chinyere, and Bro. Israel Tajomavwo. They are all performing excellently well both in the class work and outside evangelism.

7. During our June campaigns, we were able to restore four souls and three children.

8. Bro. Mfon Etim taught on the topic: The preacher's work and his life on May 2025

9. Bro. Emmanuel Odo taught on God head in the month of June 2025.

10. Bro. Timothy Iwe taught on 1, 2, and 3 John in the month of July 2025.

The Ikorodu BVBIN remains grateful to God and BVBI management for your support. The assistance rendered to us here in IKORODU has promoted the spreading of the gospel and training of our members. With your assistance, we were able to fill our environs with the gospel of Christ. Many are now Christians from the denominations. Many of our brothers have become preachers of the gospel. Many congregations are assisted by our students.

Beginnings of New School in Ukanafun, Nigeria

Greetings to you and yours in Christ Jesus name, trust this report finds you well. Here is the report of our activities for the month of May, June, and July 2025.

OVERVIEW

NEW SCHOOL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION :

On the receipt of the news of the approval of Bear Valley Bible Institute, Ukanafun Center in Nigeria, there was excitement among the brethren in the neighborhood. As the center Director, I put up posters in different congregations of the Lord's Church in the area and on Facebook, and many indicated interest to study with the BVBIN Ukanafun Center.

A total of 39 brethren took the entrance Examination as follows:

May 27: Twenty eight (28) brethren took the entrance Examination.

June 19: Six (6) brethren took the entrance Examination.

June 26: Five (5) brethren took the entrance Examination.

ORIENTATION OF NEW STUDENTS:

On June 28, the orientation session was led by me, Mojima Etokudo, the center Director, where students were informed about the Bear Valley Bible Institute: its history, program, and what is expected of the students and the instructors.

LECTURE BEGINS ON JULY 5:

On July 5, 2025, lecture begins at the Township Church of Christ meeting Hall, Ukanafun with our students taking Research and Writing with 27 students who turned up, others promised to start by August.

MORE NEW STUDENTS:

On July 28, Two new students enrolled and took the entrance Examination into BVBIN Ukanafun Center to start lecture in August.

CONCLUSION:

Thank you so much for your generosity, I am optimistic that many souls will come to the knowledge of Christ and His Church through Bear Valley Bible Institute, Nigeria Ukanafun Center. We look forward to a greater August 2025.

Summer Break for BVBI in Ukraine

June & July

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you. We hope you are doing well. Right now, the BV Bible Institute is on a summer break. During this time, we are focused on student recruitment and preparation for the new academic year. We are thankful that this year we will have five students in the program: two women and three men.

• Oksana, the wife of Vadym, who graduated from the program this past school year.

• Marta, a single woman who wants to grow in her knowledge of Scripture.

• Andriy, Denys, and Mykola – all three are married men with a desire to serve and study God’s Word.

Classes will start on September 1. The schedule for the first semester is already finished. Both the students and the teachers are preparing. We will continue the program in online format this year.

Teachers and Translators

We are very thankful for our teachers and their ongoing service. Please keep brother Kostyantyn in your prayers. He is our regular translator and a preacher from Bila Tserkva. Recently, he was diagnosed with leukemia, and he will begin consultations at the regional clinic next week. This is a difficult situation for him, his family, and also for the institute, because he has been translating all our American teachers in both bachelor’s and master’s programs. We may need to look for an additional translator to help. Please pray for wisdom and for God’s help.

Summer Activities

This summer, there was a good Amerikraine camp held in Ukraine. We are thankful to Jeff Abrams and his team for organizing it.

Student Needs

Most of our students are internally displaced people because of the war. The institute continues to help them and their families with housing and other basic needs.

Planting crops and the word of God in Guinea

GUECKEDOU BEAR VALLEY BIBLE INSTITUTE ACTIVITY OPERATIONS REPORT FOR JULY 2025.

Greetings, we are here again for another one month activity operations report - that is for the month of July 2025.

During those 31 days we had course lectures and despite the heavy rains, a variety of field activities. This includes farmland work, another distant mission trip to train church leaders and some evangelistic campaigns. Let's now go into the details of these.

Classroom: We covered the major prophets of Isaiah, Jeremiah and also studied personal evangelism ll. Just before the close of the month the students began lectures on the course "Marriage and family" which extends into the month of August.

The earlier three were evaluated and the results satisfactory.

Farmland: On  the weekend of July 5, our students started an extraordinary outdoor activity of farmland brushing. We are grateful to brother Steven Ashcraft and all who support his work in Guinea and for the purchase of 14 plots of farmland for the school. With the help of volunteers in the brotherhood the brushing was completed the following weekend and later, started the special exercise of cacao seedling trans-planting. The latter went on for 3 days so that we have transplanted over 500 seedlings. This a long time project expected to subsidise future school operations cost at least on a periodic basis - harvest seasons.

Evangelism: Follow up works by students was not only to keep up with congregational worship activities, but to also evangelise the lost. Through such programs student Antoine and his team baptised 3 persons in the village of Sagbeh. Others continue to keep up to their respective congregational assignments despite the heavy rains which sometimes affect the Sunday attendance in some areas. On the overall,  the worship service participation is encouraging.

Evangelistic teams:

The team in Conakry is continually exploring new grounds while at the same time keeping up with the regular visits to newly planted churches.

During the month of July, brothers Francis and François visited and preached to the residence of  Kilometre cinq (Préfecture of Dubrika) and Vonguifong after Coyah, on the highway to Pamlap making new prospects for future church planting.

The Koundou Lengobengou team also conducted 3 campaigns, but one did not yield fruit because of the rains and unreceptive hearts. 

On the other hand, they succeeded to plant 2 churches when 22 accepted Christ on July 10 in the village of Yomadou fawa of Koundou Lengobengou sous-préfecture.

Soon, on the 13 of the same month this team planted another congregation in the village of Baladou of the same Koundou Lengobengou sous-préfecture when 14 were baptised.

We are thankful to God for His grace, because this is a difficult time for evening outdoor activities.

Lola Church Leaders Training: 

The town of Lola which is also the sous-prefecture headquarters of Lola is located some 265 km from Gueckedou towards Liberia and lvory Coast.

Since its establishment in April the church in Lola is being visited every weekend for worship and other related activities by a Bear Valley student, bro  George from Liberia. Brother Fester Lee, his Director is to be commended for the encouragement.

Notwithstanding, there continue to be a need to train the locals not only for Sunday worship, but for doctrinal edification, self defense and the ability to teach and preach.

Hence, the mission was well planned and brothers Antoine Fassa Tolno and Francis Musa of Gueckedou, Guinea Bear Valley Dean and Director respectively met with other brethren, Kofe Roger from Ivory Coast and Fester Lee, the Bear Valley Director of Liberia for some 8 days of training and evangelism.

We are still calling upon our brethren from N'zerekore to partner with us in this noble task.

There were 5 men, members of the Lola church plus 1 particular elderly denominational woman, holding a leading role in her church who accepted our invitation to the study and training.

We covered the basics of Old and New Testaments, the NT Church, NT Worship and Teaching - lesson preparation and delivery.

Not only in Lola town, but we also had one night public preaching and projection in the village of Moata,  which is the first village in N'zerekore from Lola on the night of Sunday, July 27th. There is already a convert from here who also did the training. There were no immediate conversions, but our expectations are high for the next visit.

At the close of the training and the night preaching and projection, our special visitor who had been admiring the truth confessed not only for her conversation, but requested that we teach her 3 female children so that they all may obey the gospel. That was Sunday morning before worship, the 27th July when the 4 plus 3 others were baptised. Later, there was 1 additional baptism on the same day, but after worship. The Lola church now registers 43 baptisms including the one baptised last Sunday August 3rd.

Conclusion:

Our God is to be glorified for His grace and providence. We thank and appreciate you, our supporters and well wishers. Your efforts are blessed.

Our students are doing well and have come to the close of the first year. And  with the disturbance of the wet season they will be going on break by next week to return by the close of the month.

It is encouraging to see that the new congregation in Lola is growing. There are now 43 baptised members with an attendance of 47 which is becoming overcrowded for the present little hall. They have an urgent need for a bigger place of worship.

Any support from any well wishers  to help put up a structure on the one plot of land made available for them through the effort of brother Steven will be appreciated.

During this July, there were 2 congregations planted by the evangelistic teams. Together with those converted during other evangelistic efforts, there were all together 48 baptisms in July.

May the good Lord keep us going strong till we come back in September.

ACTIVITY OPERATION REPORT FOR JULY 2025

Full Time and the Extended (2) Programs 

INTRODUCTION

The academic and evangelistic work of the students and staff of the Bear Valley Bible Institute and the Sierra Leone School of Biblical Studies continue to progress and make significant impact on the churches of Christ and the spiritual landscape of Sierra Leone. In and out of the classroom, we continue to be busier every day. As staff, apart from the school involvement, we continue to be very engaged with local and universal activities of the Churches of Christ in Sierra Leone. Moreover, an effective follow up on our graduates also continues to yield good fruits; they continue to be actively involved in the work for which they were trained. For the first time, many of them all over the country came together in one place for a four-day evangelistic seminar that they organized by themselves at Dia. On the other hand, the evangelistic teams on the field also continue to steadfastly promote God’s evangelistic mission. Here are more details to the highlighted activities:

STUDENTS AND ACADEMIC UPDATES

On July 21, 2025, our final year full time students wrote their final exams for their sixth quarter and went on a two weeks break and were expected to resume classes by August 1, 2025. Meanwhile, our 20 year one students who were added to our community and family in June continued to get themselves familiar with the new learning environment and all its activities. They have started showing good signs of focus and direction. May God be glorified for that! Further, our 10 part time students held on firmly with their academic and evangelistic activities. Nothing happened to any of them and gratefully, they are all intact. They are rounding off their seventh quarter which would end by first August, 2025, Lord willing.

EVANGELISTIC EFFORTS AND CONVERSION OF SOULS

On the field, our school’s regular weekly evangelistic efforts were rewarded with three souls. Apart from the conversions, we continued to strengthen the weak congregations at Panguma, Daru, and Hangha. It is part of our activities (External Mission Work outside Kenema) that every quarter (sometimes two quarters depending on the need and the situation), we select congregations to strengthen. Once selected, staff and students are scheduled to be going to those congregations week in and out. This has helped many congregations to gain their spiritual stability back. It has also been helping our students greatly to gain practical experiences on the field in addition to the experiences they gather during our scheduled evangelistic campaigns. Continually, as noted earlier, our graduates also had seven souls converted and four brethren were restored. The evangelistic teams also converted fourteen souls during the month of July and restored five brethren. So for the month of July…

A.   The school had three conversions.

B.   The alumni had seven conversions and seven restorations.

C.   The evangelistic teams had fourteen conversions and five restorations.

D.   The total conversions were twenty-four.

E.    The total restorations were nine.

THE ALUMNI BODY CONDUCTED A VERY SUCCESSFUL EVANGELISTIC SEMINAR

As you have always been informed, our graduates have been making a lot of efforts in their localities. In the world of materialism and the love for sin, to find young men (and few old) who are focused on the Lord can be difficult at times. But these men continue to model their lives after their Savior Jesus Christ. It is encouraging and commendable indeed to be associated with such men! The school is not joking about strengthening this relationship. The graduates have been connecting with one another and even have a forum where they hold meetings to discuss their work in their respective localities. Therefore, during one of their meetings, one of their colleagues, Jacob James who is a very useful vessel for the congregation at Dia, Kailahun District of Eastern Sierra Leone requested that they go to his congregation and host their first general gathering of an evangelistic seminar. He presented several important and spiritual reasons why his congregation needed his colleagues to go there for the seminar. Eventually, they went and had a four-day consistent out and indoor program.  This program was held on July 10 to 13, 2025. The theme for their gathering was, “How to Make Oneself Available to Promote God’s Evangelistic Mission in a Local and Global Sense.”

The program involved indoor lectureship and door-to-door evangelism. Open air preaching was also well utilized.  As a result, seven brethren who had backslided were restored. There was no conversion recorded but the Gospel was preached to many souls. The Dia congregation will do a follow-up thereafter. Moreover, the program helped in bringing the Alumni together in the spirit of love and humbleness and rekindled in them the desire to continue working in the Vineyard of God. They held a meeting and shared their field experiences with one another. They concluded that at least per year, they would be conducting such activities at different locations twice. They have other plans that they are working on and soon they will begin to implement them. We are grateful to God for those field workers. The Alumni members remain committed and zealous in carrying out God’s evangelistic activities. May the Lord bless their efforts continually!

CONCLUSION

We remain grateful to God almighty for His guidance and wisdom in all that we do. He keeps on helping us to do what we are doing; He uses people like you to encourage and share with us your means. Together, we shall continue to progressively nurture men and convert some to Christ. We have planned a very important lectureship for all the preachers and Church leaders in Sierra Leone from August 7-9, 2025. Please keep on praying for us for the realization of the program and for more successes to be recorded in all that we do.

Great results from evangelism in Zambia

JULY 2025

INTRODUCTION

We send greetings to you brothers and sisters in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. We began the month of July with a lot of expectations for His service; we have done preaching on the Copperbelt province in four districts. Indeed our plan for a successful gospel campaign came to pass

We had a gospel meeting in 4 districts namely; Chingola, Luanshya, Kitwe and Mpongwe districts respectively. The following details of life building activities took place: in the month of July.

Our Gospel meeting in Chingola

We had a gospel meeting which attracted twenty-three congregations on the Copperbelt province, the meeting was held for 4days from 4th to 8th July. The meeting included men, women and children all were invited and the total number of those in attendance was three hundred and seven (307).

Brother Cephas Mwamba taught on a lesson titled “AM I EQUIPPED TO MEET THE LORD?” and at the end of this teaching we received eight-seven (87) restorations and 1 baptism. The Church on the Copperbelt is being strengthened through such meetings. We also had good lessons for children who were present.

Agriculture workshop

We invited Brother Ebeneza Udofia from Kenya to train our students in Agricultural skills; in this course we covered topics like soil preparation and drip irrigation. This program is part of the survival skill for our students at school as we train them. Brother Udofia is our regular minister and expert in this field of study. Whenever he is invited the communities benefits a lot too because we always invite and encourage them to attend. This year he did not only train our students but seventy one (71) members from the community benefited from the program this year. Most of those who came represented fourteen (14) cooperatives and they were leaders. At the end of our 4 days workshop we had one convert from those who attended the training.

We are looking forward to meet him next year as we evangelize with him in His vineyard. We have already a place where these skills are implemented and we are extending to congregations which we have established.

Women meeting at BVBI-Zambia

For the second time this year women on the Copperbelt province met at BVBI-Zambia. The purpose was to encourage them to keep the faith and unity. Older women advised the younger women in keeping the faith and to have good conduct as stated in Titus 2:4. Brother Fred Kanangu opened the meeting and preached on unity. At first we had such meeting with the youths in the same capacity and now women; we are meeting with men in the month of August at Churches of Christ in Mikomfwa.

Our interaction with chiefs representatives on the Copperbelt

Our evangelism in Mpongwe district has attracted some Chiefs and their representatives due to the uniqueness of our message. We met with Laurence katuba and Saul mboya who represented other headmen in the district. They expressed great happiness for the boreholes that has been done in their communities, and also thanked the Bear Valley Bible institute for role played in establishing the Lords Church in their Chiefdom.

Though the place is quite far from our campus, we intend to do more work in these areas once we have funds for evangelism available. We have attached a picture of Laurence speaking to us at the meeting place.

Baptisms and restorations

We have recorded three (3) baptisms in Lusaka province through our Alumni Simon and Richard; we also recorded 6 from Southern where Tryvin and Daniel are preaching. On the Copperbelt we have recorded 5 of which 2 were recorded in Kitwe where Boyd Kalaba and Jally Siawaza are preaching. We recorded 1 from Luapula province. Other 2 records are from Northern Province where Reuben Museka is preaching  

We also recorded 7 restorations through Aclay Kabaya and Clive Kabika our former students. In Luanshya district we have recorded 6 restorations from Mikomfwa when our students reached out for visitation program.

 We have recorded a total number of seventeen (17) baptisms and a total number of ninety one (91) restorations for the month of July.

Conclusion

We are all being equipped for a crown to be given at the end of our journey here on earth, it is called a crown of righteousness because it will be the recompense of our service, which God is not unrighteous to forget and because our holiness and righteousness will there be perfected, and will be our crown. "Equipping Servants to Transform the North"

Introduction

June 2025 was a month filled with spiritual growth and academic progress at the Bear Valley Bible Institute. True to its mission of training competent, faithful, and active servants of Christ, the Institute continued its biblical training program while intensifying its field evangelism efforts.

This report offers a detailed summary of the month’s activities and presents clear perspectives for the future, aiming to encourage all supporters of this work to remain committed and visionary.

I. Academic Activities – Courses

·         Current student count: 19 students (1 new student joined in June).

·         All students are actively engaged in their training, demonstrating strong commitment, teamwork, and a growing thirst for knowledge.

·         Instructors have intensified their efforts to deliver deep, practical Bible teaching tailored to the realities of ministry in West Africa.

This progress is the result of a healthy spiritual environment, dedicated supervision, and the faithful support of our partners.

II. Evangelism and Spiritual Results

Evangelism remains at the heart of our mission. In June, students conducted several outreach efforts, including:

·         Weekly door-to-door evangelism every Friday Results:

·         5 baptisms after the class resumed (including one young boy and one young girl).

·         2 baptisms during the break at the beginning of June.

Each conversion is a living testimony to the impact of the training received and the power of God’s Word.

III. Resumption of Classes – June 16, 2025

After a short break at the beginning of June, classes resumed on June 16, welcomed with joy and seriousness by the students. This second term promises to be rich and formative, both in doctrinal depth and missionary zeal.

IV. Activities During the Break

Even during the holiday break, the Institute remained active:

·         Several students continued evangelism voluntarily.

·         Result: 2 new baptisms — a sign of a living, motivating training.

Student commitment beyond the classroom is proof of their inner transformation and growing maturity.

V. Second Term Program (June 16 – October 30, 2025)

The academic program includes 6 essential subjects to ensure solid and balanced biblical training:

These courses are designed to equip students to preach, teach, lead, and serve with faithfulness and effectiveness.

VI. Growth Perspectives and Partnership Appeal

To increase our impact and ensure sustainable training, we propose several areas for development:

1. Strengthening Pedagogy:

a. Continuous training for teachers

·         Invite guest instructors for specialized modules (e.g., apologetics, biblical counseling).

·         Encourage personal research and study for every teacher.

b. Diversifying teaching resources

·         Enrich our library with:

o    Bible concordances, simplified Hebrew/Greek dictionaries, Bible atlases.

o    French-language books adapted to the African context.

o    Reliable biblical commentaries and practical training manuals.

2. Strategic Evangelism

·         Organize targeted outreach campaigns in unreached areas.

·         Launch preaching points led by students.

3. Partnership Support

We warmly invite all current and future partners to strengthen their commitment, in order to:

·         Expand the reach of the Gospel throughout the northern region.

·         Equip more faithful preachers rooted in sound doctrine.

Conclusion

June 2025 is further proof that God is working powerfully through the Bear Valley Bible Institute. Thanks to the commitment of teachers, students, and partners, we continue advancing toward our vision: to see the Church of Christ grow, strengthen, and shine across the entire northern region and beyond.
