Six new congregations planted in Guinea

GUECKEDOU BEAR VALLEY BIBLE INSTITUTE ACTIVITY OPERATIONS REPORT FOR JULY 2026.

The extension school of the USA Bear Valley Bible lnstitute in Gueckedou, Guinea salutes you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is that time again when we fulfill our duty to update you on the events that transpired here - and now for the month of July 2026. There were not many activities, but all was well to the glory of God. Here are the highlights of such events that took place here which we shall detail below:

There were the Classroom lecture activities, Field exercises on congregational follow up, Radio ministry and Evangelistic teams work. Now let us go into the details.

Classroom lectures: After we completed the Pentateuch, the first five books of the bible, the students were engaged in the history books of Joshua to Esther with brother Saa Robert. Like the Pentateuch, this too will carry us past the middle of August. Our students, who are of mixed ages, older and younger folks are coping well. This July is just their second month in school and all is going well.

Congregational follow up:

It is of great interest to note that as early as just a month in school a good number of our students are already in the field of congregational follow work with experienced brothers and staff. The work is enormous and everyone who has determined to study here is equally considered ready for field exercise.

Besides, our evangelistic team leaders continue to strengthen especially weaker and new churches.  There was 1 soul baptized during the exercise.

Radio ministry: The radio ministry is not directly in the Bear Valley school program, but being done by the staff whose principal mission is to evangelize the lost, we have made it a tool to help broadcast in advance of our gospel outreach especially for evangelistic teams work. This we have seen from experience that prior to reaching the field for public evangelism, the audience is already informed of the church and the gospel we preach. Just 30 minutes per week, but it is felt!

Evangelistic teams work: By the grace of God we were able to send out men, students to work with the evangelistic team leaders into new areas where they preached the gospel. The outcome of this exercise was the planting of new churches. There were 5 campaigns launched, but we, by the providence of God, planted another even though with fewer converts making 6 new churches for the month under review. No doubt, our usual follow up work will increase the converts in the new and small congregation of 4 members. Also, these will join the nearby bigger congregation for Sunday worship until they can reach a stronger numerical and spiritual growth.

The Conakry team is making every effort to expand the gospel even though the entire area is of high Islamic dominance. While they make follow up to the new or weaker churchers at Forecaria, Coyah and Grand-molin they are now beginning to reach out to nearby new communities of Somayah quarter and Coyah barrage Kale. We are optimistic that some fruitful results will follow soon.

We said the evangelistic teams planted 6 churches.

Here are the new churches:
1. Bongho, Temessadou Djibo sous-préfecture - 8 baptized on 12/7/26

2. Gbandonin, Temessadou Djibo sous-préfecture - 11 baptized on 16/7/26

3. Yillandou, Gbolodou sous-préfecture - 8 baptized on 17/7/26

4. Massadou, Temessadou Djibo sous-préfecture - 12 baptized on 24/7/26

5. Kango, Temessadou Djibo sous-préfecture - 11 baptized on 25/7/26 &

6. Temessadou pombo, Temessadou Djibo sous-préfecture - 4 baptized on 26/7/27.

Conclusion: The Gueckedou school in Guinea has just started another batch and with the rainy season had fewer activities in the month of July. Notwithstanding, all went well to the glory of God. Classes are ongoing, follow up works to new and weaker churches continue, the Evangelistic teams work is succeeding to add more souls as new congregations are being planted.

During the month of July, we planted 6 churches baptizing 55 souls. Pray with us for the growth of these converts and for more souls to obey Christ as we continue to train preachers and do field exercise at the same time.

We thank and appreciate you all for your support and prayers. Until the end of August, remain blessed.
