Evangelistic Campaign Hosted in Calabar

ADMINISTRATIVE SUMMARY REPORT

Bear Valley Bible Institute Nigeria – Calabar Centre

Reporting Period: April – June 2026

1. Introduction

We thank Almighty God for His continued grace upon the work of Bear Valley Bible Institute Nigeria, Calabar Centre, during the second quarter of 2026. The institute continues to make meaningful progress in fulfilling its mission of training faithful Christians for effective service in preaching, teaching, leadership, and evangelism. Academic and evangelistic activities proceeded successfully during the quarter, and the school remains committed to upholding the doctrinal and academic standards of Bear Valley Bible Institute.

2. Student Enrollment

During this reporting period, one (1) new student was admitted into the regular programme, reflecting the growing interest in Biblical education.

At the same time, three (3) students temporarily withdrew due to personal and financial challenges, particularly transportation difficulties. We remain hopeful that they will be able to resume their studies when their circumstances improve.

The institute presently maintains twenty-four (24) regular students, who continue to demonstrate commitment to Biblical learning and Christian service.

3. Teaching Staff and Academic Activities

The Calabar Centre continues to operate with three lecturers, who faithfully share teaching responsibilities.

During the quarter:

Regular lectures were conducted according to the academic calendar.

Students completed their assigned coursework and classroom activities.

Examinations were successfully conducted as scheduled.

The institute continued to provide balanced Biblical and practical ministerial training to prepare students for effective gospel work.

4. Evangelism and Community Outreach

One of the major highlights of this quarter was a three-day evangelistic campaign conducted at Mami Market, which is the civilian residential community located behind the military barracks in Ikot Ansa, Calabar.

The outreach involved:

House-to-house evangelism with the distribution of gospel tracts.

Public gospel lectures delivered by Bear Valley lecturers and invited brethren.

Personal Bible studies and follow-up visits with interested individuals.

The Lord graciously blessed the programme with favourable weather despite the rainy season, allowing all planned activities to be completed successfully.

As a result of the outreach:

Three souls were baptized into Christ.

Several additional contacts are currently receiving follow-up Bible studies with the hope of leading them to obedience to the gospel.

The congregation of the Lord's Church, Ikot Ansa, where the institute is hosted, provided valuable support throughout the outreach.

5. Continued Ministry Impact

The institute continues to encourage students to participate actively in practical ministry through evangelism, congregational service, and gospel teaching. The impact of previous outreach efforts continues to be evident as students gain practical experience and contribute meaningfully to strengthening local congregations.

6. Future Plans

The Calabar Centre remains committed to:

Expanding evangelistic outreach into new communities.

Strengthening follow-up efforts for new converts and Bible study prospects.

Encouraging greater student enrollment.

Supporting struggling congregations through student evangelistic involvement.

Exploring opportunities to extend Bible training to additional locations where there is growing interest.

7.  Conclusion

We sincerely thank God for His abundant blessings throughout this quarter. The successful completion of academic activities, the admission of new students, the three-day evangelistic campaign, the baptism of three precious souls, and the ongoing follow-up of several prospects testify to God's continued hand upon the work.

We appreciate the prayers, encouragement, and oversight of the leadership of Bear Valley Bible Institute Nigeria. We remain committed to training faithful workers who will effectively serve Christ and strengthen His church throughout Cross River State and beyond.
