New congregations in India
Dear Brethren in Christ,
Greetings from all the brethren at Bikkavolu Bible College. We pray for your safety and well-being during these uncertain times as conflicts continue to affect many parts of the world. We sincerely thank you for your faithful prayers and continued partnership in the Lord's work. We are pleased to share another ministry report to update you on what God is doing through the work at Bikkavolu Bible College. Thank you for being an important part of this ministry.
Establishing New Congregations:
Establishing a new congregation, especially one committed to teaching and practicing the truth of God's Word, is becoming increasingly challenging. Opposition continues to grow, and at the same time, the spread of many man-made doctrines creates confusion among those sincerely seeking the truth. Despite these challenges, we are greatly encouraged to see faithful young men stepping forward to preach the Gospel and establish congregations where the Lord's church is needed.
One such example is Joseph, a recent graduate of the two-year Preacher Training Program at Bikkavolu Bible College. For the past eight years, the school has been training and sending out evangelists to serve throughout Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. After completing his training, Joseph committed himself to preaching the Gospel and planting a congregation in his own community.
To encourage and support him, members of our faculty traveled to his village and worked alongside him. During our visit, we went from house to house inviting people to attend the Gospel meetings and conducted several personal Bible studies. These visits provided an excellent opportunity to introduce Joseph as the local evangelist serving the community.
We also met his family, who faithfully worship with the small group that is currently assembling in a simple shed they have built for worship services and Bible study. Although the congregation is still young, we are thankful to see it growing through the faithful efforts of God's people.
We were especially encouraged to see several experienced preachers from neighboring areas come to support Joseph as he begins the challenging work of preaching the truth and establishing a faithful congregation. Their fellowship, encouragement, and guidance will be a great blessing as this work continues to grow.
We sincerely request your prayers for Joseph and for many other young preachers like him. They are humble, committed servants of Christ who are laboring with enthusiasm and faith. Establishing a congregation requires patience, perseverance, and complete dependence upon God. Please pray that the Lord will grant them wisdom, courage, strength, and unwavering faith as they labor for the growth of His kingdom. Pray also that these congregations will remain faithful to the Scriptures, continue to grow, and become shining lights in their communities.
Gratitude:
On behalf of all the students and faculty, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued love, prayers, and support. These young men are now going into communities to establish congregations, strengthen existing churches, teach sound doctrine, and encourage believers to remain faithful as they press toward the crown of life.
We thank God for the faithful brethren at the Killen, Tuscumbia, and Atlas Churches of Christ for their continued confidence in and support of the preaching school. Because of your partnership, much good is being accomplished for the Lord's kingdom. We pray that God will richly bless each one of you as we continue serving together in His vineyard.
in Christ,
