OPERATIONAL REPORT JANUARY-MARCH 2026
Preamble
To the glory of God, the Bear Valley Bible Institute – Nkoranza Campus- Ghana continues to make remarkable progress in its mission of training faithful men and women to preach and teach the gospel of Christ effectively. The first quarter of the 2026 academic year has been both spiritually enriching and academically productive. The period was featured by sound biblical instruction, practical evangelism, and active participation in mission programs that align with the overall vision of Bear Valley International Bible Institute.
The campus remains committed to producing competent evangelist and church leaders as well as children and women teachers who are firmly grounded in the Scriptures, able to rightly divide the word of truth, and dedicated to the expansion of the Lord’s church across Ghana and beyond.
Overview
The campus participated in a four day lectureship at Nkoranza it was an annual program for the area congregations in every first week of January both local and international speakers showed up.
From January to March the school supported evangelism activities and church planting at the following areas: Manfo in Ahafo Ano in Ashanti region, Oforikrom in Techiman south, Buipe in the Central Gonja district of Savannah together with Tamale School, Wenchi Nkonsia in Wenchi municipal of the Bono region and the school main campaign was held at Asuoano in the Nkoranza South as indicated in the fourth quarter report. We recorded Twenty- Five baptisms (25) during the period and hoping to baptize more by the close of the year. To the glory of God almighty five congregations were planted from January to March 2026. Staff and students together with other faithful brethren in selected areas has agree to support nurturing of the congregations planted. Interestingly, Brother Joseph a native of Buipe got baptized during the Buipe and currently is enrolled at Tamale School With the support from Bear Valley Bible Institute and other stakeholders like Gospel Chariot we have planted eleven (11) congregations within two years.

We are planning to expand the kingdom to other areas where there are no churches, places earmarked include Botokrom in Berekum East of the Bono region and Japeikrom of the Jaman south in the Bono region as well.
COURSES TAUGHT AND EVANGELISM ACTIVITIES
During the period under review, the students were thoroughly taught and examined in the following courses;
How we got the bible
Hermeneutics
Personal Evangelism
The objective of these courses was to deepen the students biblical understanding, strengthen their doctrinal convictions and equip them with the ability to teach sound biblical principles both within and outside the classroom.
(a) How we got the Bible: This course builds bible students confidence in the reliability of the scriptures, strengthens faith in the divine inspiration, equip students to defend the bible against criticisms and enhances the understanding of how we got the bible.
(b) Hermeneutics 2: This course focuses on improving the accuracy in bible interpretation, prevent misunderstanding and false teachings and deepens understanding of complex passages as well as enhances teaching and preaching skills.
(c ) Personal Evangelism 2: The course trains the students in confidence building in soul-winning, develops communication and persuasion skills, encourages consistence Christian witnessing and to equip them to handle objections and guide conversions.
PROJECTION FOR THE NEXT QUARTER IN 2026
As part of the institute’s academic and evangelistic plan for the year, the following activities have been scheduled:
Courses to be studied: students will undertake three courses to further strengthen their biblical knowledge and ministerial competences.
These are;
1. Christian Counseling
2. Logic and the Bible
3. Research Writing
Evangelism and church planting
In line with the institute’s mission to evangelize and plant new congregations, the school plans to embark on an evangelism campaign and church planting exercise at Botokrom near Jinijini in Berekum East District of the Bono region in June 2026. This initiative follows a thorough feasibility study conducted in the community, which revealed the readiness of the area for the gospel. The campaign will involve public preaching, personal evangelism, house to house Bible studies and follow up sessions.
The primary objective is to plant a new church of the Lord in the area and provide continued support and nurtured for the new converts through regular visits and teaching programs.
Expected Outcome
(a) To enhance students understanding of the scriptures.
(b) Practical field experience for students in evangelism and church planting.
(c) Establishment of a new congregation at Botokrom and Japeikrom
(d) To propagate the gospel in Nkoranza area and beyond.
STUDENT’S PROFILE
I introduced to you sister Mispa Asiedu Kodom one of the three female students at Nkoranza campus, she was born on 10th April 1988 at Bonsu in the Nkoranza south municipal of the Bono east region of Ghana. She baptized on 10th 0f April 2005 in Ejura-Sekyere off Kyeradeso where Bear Valley supported us to plant a church two years ago.
Her parents are Mr. Dominic Kodom and Madam Charlotte Asieduaa all of Nkoranza, she is married to Mr. Samuel Agyenim Boateng with three children.
Sister Mispa started her education at Bonsu Methodist Primary and completed her basic education in 2003, she then continued her secondary education at Ejura Secondary School and proceeded to University of Cape Coast for Diploma in Basic education in 2016 and further her education at University of Education Winneba for BSc in Education.
She is a teacher by profession and also serve as a Sunday school teacher in Nkoranza Breman.
Her motivation to study bible is considering what God has done for her over the years she started from zero and by the grace and providence of God she and her family are pressing on. Her favorite quote from the scriptures is 2 Timothy 4: 6-9 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your mind in Christ Jesus”. Her vision is to impact knowledge to women and children within and outside the Lord’s kingdom.
