SECOND QUARTER REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2026
On behalf of the staff at Bear Valley Bible Institute Lusaka, I wish to convey our heartfelt greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is another interesting moment in which we submit to you this Second Quarter Report for the year 2026. This report primarily highlights the courses covered, outreach and in-reach programs, baptisms, and restorations.
COURSES COVERED
The courses covered during the quarter under review were two (Joshua to Esther and Christian Evidences). The total number of courses covered so far are seven.
We had twenty students who attended classes in the quarter under review.
OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Evangelism in the Communities: In the second quarter of the year 2026, the staff and students undertook an evangelism exercise in the surrounding communities of John Laing church of Christ. Some of the backslidden members were visited and restored, the sick brethren were prayed for and others were preached to. The appointments which were made from the field, were submitted to the church leadership for follow-ups.
This exercise did not only increase the number of the congregation numerically, but also spiritually strengthened the individuals and families that were visited.
Prison and Hospital Visitations: In the same quarter under review, some of the students (Brother Syalwindi Syakwasia and Brother Reymond Simunsanda) continued preaching to the inmates and visited the sick individuals admitted to the local health facilities.
National Youth Conference: Some of our instructors and students were involved as preachers and organizing committee members at the National Youth Conference which was held in Chongwe District, Lusaka Province and was attended by 1,614 participants coming from eight provinces of Zambia.
IN-REACH PROGRAMS
Evangelism Seminar: The Chunga church of Christ hosted an evangelism seminar which was conducted by Brother Philemon Rajah and Brother Kingsley Rajah from India. Some of our staff and students were facilitators at the same seminar. The purpose of the students’ participation at the seminar was to expose them to other viable evangelistic technics which are instrumental in their field work.
Students’ Commitments in their Congregations: In the quarter under discussion, students from their respective congregations were involved in the teaching of new converts, Bible study classes, preaching and doing other local church activities. The commitment of the students at their respective congregations contributed to the numerical and spiritual growth of the congregations in Lusaka.
BAPTISMS
In the quarter under review, the Bear Valley Bible Institute Lusaka contributed to the total number of 20 baptisms recorded from the above implemented outreach and in-reach activities.
RESTORATIONS
The total number of 18 restorations was recorded in the same quarter under review
