Harvesting souls in Luanshya, Zambia

April report, 2026

Report

Introduction

The month of April has been a busy month in our learning and practicing what we teach.  As we write this report students are in Lusaka Chongwe interacting with the youths at our national level with brother Fred Kanangu leading. We have done other work here on the Copperbelt province on different ocaasions in Chingola, Kitwe and Luanshya, our meetings too have borne much fruit.

In Luanshya we completed a ablution block with our students doing the work. We also had a very progressive meeting in Kitwe district, 45 leaders came to participate at Central Church of Christ. The meeting was organized to promote unity in the church, which has motivated us to envangelize.

In our second quarter short course classes were taught by brother Donnie from USA and brother Kennedy Mukuka. In all we should report that we have had a busy time in the Lord.

WHEN GOD ASK

"Where are you?" Is a sermon that brother Kennedy Mukuka taught at a conference in southern province. 4,684 where in attendance, 17 new born babes in Christ where recorded and 91 restorations.

We continue to thank God for His servants always busy doing His work at any given time. He publicly mentioned our former students who were in attendance and encouraged the members to attend BVBI-Zambia

PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL SECURITY

As the saying goes we "learn from Known to unknown" we took time to build at church of Christ in Mikomfwa with our students from start to finshing the whole structure. We learned in physical building to be disciplined. It's a skill our students are to live with "discipline" we are expecting a meeting of 300 - 500 people by next year, both young and old, so this preparation is on going.

First we had a class with an instructor in building Mr Golden and then, we went on to do the work, we must say the work has been so enriching in our spiritual life. Putting in practice what we are learning like this will always provide a security by fulfilling a commandment of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who said: in (Acts   20:35)   “I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

 SHORT COURSES

The book of Romans was taught by brother Donnie for 5 days, we believe this has helped once again our students to mature and be stable in the gospel. Brother Donnie who is also our country coodinator did an excellent work with his teaching experience in the ministry

After brother Donnie brother, Kennedy Mukuka came through to teach Marriage and family life. Brother Mukuka too is an expert in marriage and counseling. He did an excellent work. He both represents the church and the government of Zambia his blessings of marriages. We believe with both exprienced preachers, our students are well equipped in the ministry.

Brother Mukuka, during his time of teaching, we also made a follow up in Chingola were one student of WBS was baptized. We keep on thanking our God for such excellent preachers as mentioned above.

SOULS SAVED AND RESTORED

We have recorded five souls on the copper belt province. One was recoreded from northern through Reubenand three in southen province through Clive

We have also recorded nine (9) souls which were restored on the Copperbelt and 3 were recorded through Tryvin in chief Gawa's village were he is currently preaching.

We praise God for their decision to be restored back, our thoughts and prayers are with them. We expect more as our students still in the field for practical work.

DOING WELL WITH OUR GARDEN

With our banana plantation, we have harvested and enjoyed the fruit of our labor with our church members and the community. Brother Mukuka had time to view our plantation as attached in this report. We believe our students and the community at large are learning alot and will be able to live a life that is self sustaining. We are in a process to extend this farming to our Institute plot for more activities of this nature.

CONCLUSION

May our God keep you safe as we continue to labor in His vineyard. Thank you for your gift, your sacrifice. We pray that your spirit is uplifted, your faith is strengthened and your life is filled with peace, love and endless possibilities.

We thank God for using you as an instrument in the spreading of His gospel in this critical moment. May the almighty continue to guide you, strengthen you, bless you abandantly, and grant you long life filled with wisdom and grace.

In His service,

Cephas and Fred
