Evangelism workshop in Bikkavolu, India

Dear Brethren in Christ,

I bring greetings to you from the students and faculty at Bikkavolu Bible College. We are very thankful for your continued prayers and support.

On the 8th and 9th, we will be conducting an Evangelism and Leadership Workshop. At the same time, we are concerned about the war situation that is affecting areas not far from us. We are already facing difficulties in obtaining propane gas in the market, along with a significant increase in the price of diesel. We sincerely pray for your safety and plead with God to restore normal conditions so that the world may continue to live in peace and harmony.

Upcoming Programs

We are excited about the upcoming events. Brother Keith, the Director of International Schools, will be one of the speakers at the Evangelism and Leadership Workshop. On the 10th, we shall hold the Graduation Ceremony at Visakha Valley Bible College. All of us will be attending this special event along with the two-day Evangelism and Leadership Workshop.

I have attached the program sheet for your review. Brother Anil Kumar, who is serving as the Coordinator for World Bible School, will be the chief speaker. Last year, we conducted a Four-Field Gospel Program at our campus, and this year we are planning a similar program, with leadership being one of the key topics, to be held in Visakhapatnam.

Kindly pray for the success of these programs.

Gospel Campaign

I would like to share an update on the mission program that we conduct every three months as part of our school curriculum.

This time, we had the opportunity to visit over 220 homes in a nearby village where one of our faculty members has recently begun working with a group studying the Bible. We visited this community and conducted door-to-door outreach. Only about 5 percent of the homes declined our offer to study with them or pray for them. The vast majority welcomed our students and allowed them to share the Word and pray with them.

Each group of students was led by a faculty member to provide proper guidance and ensure safety in case of any unexpected situations. It was a very meaningful and productive week of ministry. Since we do not have a vehicle of our own, we hired an auto-rickshaw to transport the students from place to place. This experience provided valuable hands-on training in evangelism.

Our school remains one of the few institutions that has consistently conducted such practical evangelism programs for many years.

After visiting homes, our students invited the families to attend the gospel meetings conducted in that community. We were very encouraged to see good attendance at the meetings held during this campaign. We are thankful for the positive response we received during these days.

We are prayerfully hoping to see some individuals come forward to attend the church, and others who have shown interest to continue studying the Bible. We believe this campaign will be a great blessing to the local congregation.

In almost every home we visited, people requested prayers. Some made special requests for their children, for their economic situations, and for healing from illness and sickness.

Our high appreciation goes to the Elders and all the brethren at Killen Church of Christ, Tuscumbia Church of Christ, Atlas Church of Christ and Lomax Church of Christ for their trust and confidence all through years, it means a great strength to us. We continue to rely on your prayers and encouragement as we carry out this mission. Your partnership means so much to us, and we thank God for you every day.

May God bless you all.

in Christ,

John Dean Muppidi
