Evangelism producing results in Kara, Togo

Monthly Report – March 2026

Bear Valley Bible Institute – Kara, Togo

Date: March 6, 2026

Introduction

We extend our fraternal greetings and sincere thanks in Christ to all those who faithfully support the Lord's work in Africa. This precious support comes from our sponsors and ministry partners, leaders and coordinators of the missionary work, as well as trainers and evangelists actively engaged in the field.

We pray that the Lord, the Master of the harvest (Matthew 9:37–38), will continually renew you in strength, wisdom, and joy. Your active participation – through your prayers, resources, and commitment – is essential to the proclamation of the Gospel and the edification of the Body of Christ in the various regions where this ministry operates.

We give thanks to God for His constant faithfulness and for the many blessings He has granted to the Bear Valley Bible Institute – Kara during the month of February 2026. This month was marked by several important activities, including the continued progress of the academic course program, practical evangelism activities, and evangelistic work in surrounding villages.

Friday evangelism activities were particularly conducted in the village of Tchitchao Kezide. Students had the opportunity to put into practice the teachings they receive in class. By the grace of God, two (2) individuals obeyed the Gospel and were baptized, demonstrating that the training provided at the Institute is not only theoretical but also practical, preparing students to effectively carry out the ministry of the Gospel.

 I. Evangelism Activities

The objective of the Bear Valley Bible Institute is not merely to transmit a theological or academic knowledge of the Bible. Our mission is to train active evangelists and field workers capable of leading souls to Christ and participating in the establishment of new congregations of the Church of Christ. We seek to train men who follow the example of the apostolic ministry, especially that of the apostle Paul, who dedicated his life to preaching the Gospel and establishing churches in various regions (Acts 14:21–23).

To this end, beyond classroom instruction, every Friday is dedicated to practical field evangelism. This initiative aims to develop in students:

1        Spiritual discipline and strong Christian character.

2        The qualities of a true evangelist.

3        A deep sense of responsibility in service and love for lost souls.

Our goal is that students do not simply become “church evangelists” limited to a local setting, but rather missionaries capable of going where the Gospel has not yet been preached. As Scripture says: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few” (Luke 10:2). For this reason, we encourage students to respond actively to this call and to participate in the work of evangelism without delay.

II. Courses Taught During the Term

During this term, several fundamental courses were taught in order to provide students with a solid and balanced biblical education. The table below details the courses and their instructors:

 Course/Instructor

Old Testament I – The Law (Cephas)

Ethic of Evangelist (Tassa)

The New Testament Church II – Worship

Leviticus (Nicodeme)

The New Testament Church (Kpelevi)

Life of Christ II – Gospel of Mark (Cephas)

The Old Testament I – The Law course, taught by Cephas, introduces students to the Law of the Old Testament by examining the Pentateuch, the role of the Law in the history of Israel, and its relationship to the plan of salvation fulfilled in Christ.

Classes are continuing normally with 15 students currently enrolled and actively participating in the training program.

III. Evangelism Program Among Denominations

As part of our evangelistic efforts, our evangelism teams in Kara and surrounding regions continue to work actively to reach people belonging to various denominations. The goal is to teach biblical truth and lead sincere individuals to a deeper understanding of the Gospel, while also establishing a program to convert and train these individuals for ministry.

Currently:

•         Two (2) locations in northern Togo are under study and evaluation.

•         More than 22 men are participating in these studies, showing serious interest in the Word of God.

We pray that these efforts will result in the formation of new disciples and, if God wills, that some of them will eventually be sent to the training center for further preparation.

Conclusion

We thank God for the many opportunities He gives us to serve in His harvest. Through biblical training, evangelism, and church planting, we continue together the mission entrusted by the Lord: to train and send faithful servants so that the Gospel may continue to spread throughout Togo and beyond, for the glory of God.

We sincerely thank you for your prayers, your support, and your partnership in this important work. May the Lord bless you abundantly.

 In Christ,

 Cephas & Fidèle
