Successful Lectureship Held in Anambra, Nigeria
A HEARTFELT REPORT AND APPRECIATION FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF THE BVBIN ANAMBRA LEADERSHIP LECTURESHIP
My Dear Friend and Brother in Christ,
Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I count it a great privilege to share with you the report of the Leadership Lectureship organized by the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Nigeria (BVBIN), Anambra State Centers, which was held on September 26, 2026, at the Church of Christ, Awada, Anambra State.
LECTURESHIP
First of all, we give all glory to God for making the program possible and for granting us a successful and spiritually rewarding Lectureship.
The Lectureship was held under the theme: “Restoring Biblical Leadership: Equipping the Church for Spiritual Growth and Faithful Oversight.” By God's grace, about 180 men and women, besides children, attended the program. We were particularly encouraged by the presence of three elders, two deacons, and one preacher from Enugu State, as well as representatives from the majority of the congregations in Anambra State. Our resource persons arrived on September 25, and the program commenced at about 11:00 a.m. on September 26 with a welcome address delivered by me, as the host and Director of Bear Valley Bible Institute Centers in Anambra State.
Our first speaker, Brother Oji O. Oji, addressed the subject: “Set in Order the Things That Are Wanting: Why Biblical Leadership Matters.” The second speaker, Dr. Mike Udam, spoke on: “Preparing Tomorrow's Shepherds Today.” Both presentations were deeply inspiring, challenging, and practical. The brethren were encouraged to think seriously about the need for biblical leadership and the responsibility of the church to prepare qualified men to serve as shepherds and spiritual leaders.
At the conclusion of the Lectureship, many participants expressed their appreciation for the program. Some specifically appealed to the BVBIN leadership to consider making this kind of program a regular event because of its importance to the growth and spiritual development of the church.
By God's providence, the brethren were both spiritually fed and physically cared for, and we are grateful that everything went well to the glory of God.
MY SINCERE APPRECIATION
My dear brother, I want to use this opportunity to express my deep and heartfelt appreciation. Your support, together with the generous contributions of other brethren here in Anambra, helped make this Lectureship possible.
I want you to know that we do not take your kindness, sacrifice, and confidence in the work for granted. Your continued investment in the Lord's work here in Anambra is greatly appreciated, and we pray that God will continue to bless you abundantly and replenish everything you have committed to His service.
“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name...” — Hebrews 6:10.
May the Lord continue to strengthen you, bless you, enlarge your capacity to serve Him, and richly reward every sacrifice you make for the advancement of His kingdom.
In His Service,
Ezeh Chijioke Shedrack
