Students in Abuja Evangelize
BEAR VALLEY BIBLE INSTITUTE NIGERIA (BVBIN)
ABUJA STUDY CENTER
THIRD QUARTER REPORT. 2026
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
We are grateful to God for His faithfulness, grace, and blessings upon the work of the Bear Valley Bible Institute Nigeria (BVBIN), Abuja Study Center. We are pleased to present this quarterly report on the major activities, progress, and strategic plans of the center during the period under review.
1. PREACHERS, ELDERS AND CONGREGATIONS SEMINAR
The long-awaited seminar involving ministers, elders, and congregations within Abuja and its environs was successfully held.
The seminar focused on βThe Relationship Between Preachers, Elders and the Congregation.β The subject generated meaningful discussions and provided an opportunity for ministers and congregational leaders to examine their respective biblical responsibilities and how they can work together more effectively for the growth and spiritual well-being of the church.
The seminar was well attended, and we are grateful to God for its success and the fellowship shared among the participating congregations and ministers.
2. EVANGELISM AND SOUL-WINNING
Evangelism remains one of the major priorities of the BVBIN Abuja Study Center. Our faculty and students continue to be encouraged to put into practice the evangelistic principles and training received at the Institute.
The BVBIN Abuja Study Center conducted an evangelistic outreach in May 2026, during which several souls were reached and baptisms were conducted.
We are also grateful to report that six souls from the Kubwa axis were baptized and added to the Lord's church.
Another evangelistic outreach has been scheduled for 24 October 2026, and we are trusting God for another fruitful exercise and the salvation of more souls.
3. SKILLS ACQUISITION PROGRAM
The center continues to encourage practical skills development alongside biblical and ministerial training.
Another edition of the Dr. Atakpa Skills Acquisition Program was successfully conducted on the 6th/7/2026. The program continues to expose participants to practical skills that can contribute to their personal development, ministry effectiveness, and self-reliance.
The program is also expanding into areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and computerization, recognizing the increasing importance of technology in modern ministry and education.
4. STRATEGIC STUDENT ENROLLMENT
Student enrollment remains an important area of focus for the Abuja Study Center.
In response to the need for greater enrollment, strategic plans are being implemented to reach more prospective students within Abuja and surrounding catchment areas.
More enrollment and enrichment forms have been printed and distributed to prospective students and interested individuals. We are also exploring additional approaches to make the BVBIN program accessible to more people.
Our desire is to increase enrollment while maintaining the quality of biblical and ministerial training for which BVBIN stands.
5. OUTLOOK AND PRAYER
As we look ahead, the Abuja Study Center remains committed to:
- Expanding evangelism and soul-winning efforts.
- Encouraging students to become actively involved in practical ministry.
- Increasing student enrollment across Abuja and its surrounding areas.
- Strengthening cooperation among ministers and congregational leaders.
- Expanding practical skills and ICT training.
- Identifying new opportunities for reaching prospective students.
We continue to pray for the growth and advancement of BVBIN, both within Nigeria and beyond.
We sincerely appreciate our international and regional directors for their leadership, encouragement, prayers, and continued commitment to the work of training men for the Lord's service.
May God continue to grant Bro. Chad Wagner, Bro. Keith Kardashian, Bro. Ebenezer, and Bro. Timothy Iwe wisdom, strength, good health, and abundant grace as they continue to serve the Lord and advance the work of BVBIN.
Respectfully submitted as my last report,
Dr. Imoh Enang Atakpa, the out-gone and immediate past
Director, BVBIN Abuja Study Center
