Operation Report For April 2025
PROLOGUE / INTRODUCTION
We will continue to thank God for your support toward the Lord's work in this part of the world. We count ourselves so much blessed for this great privilege and blessings to be part of His workforce in teaching the truth in His kingdom. We are grateful for this opportunity to work with you (1Thessalonia 5:18).
CROSS BORDER EVANGELISM
In his effort to win Africa for Christ, Bro. Steven Ashcraft, Bear Valley Bible Institute West Africa Cordinator organized a cross border Evangelistic Campaign to establish the Church in Lola Guinea. A four Men Evangelistic team from Gueckedou, Guinea and Nimba County, Liberia, led by Bro. Fester G. Lee of Liberia, arrived in Lola Guinea On Saturday April 5, 2025 ahead of other Team Members to prepare for the Campaign. Later, they were joined by Bro. Steven Ashcraft and four other brethren from the Ivory Coast and Bro. Francis Musa of Gueckedou, Guinea to continue with the work.
Fortunately, we were received by the Lola Bellevue Community dwellers and a kind hearted Community leader Mr.Yon Neimy who embraced the idea of establishing the Church in their community. Mr. Neimy who later became a member of the Church with his wife, was very much instrumental in making sure the mission succeeded. By the grace of God, through his tireless efforts, the cross border Evangelistic Team was able to establish the church in the Bellevue Community of Lola in Guinea on Sunday April 13, 2025 with twenty three (23) souls being converted in obedience to the gospel through water baptism.
The team departed Lola on Monday April 14, 2025 leaving Bro. George Martor a Student of the Bear Valley Bible Institute-Liberia Extension In charge of the congregation temporally. He is expected to visit the congregation every Friday after school and return on Sunday after church service for classes in Liberia until we get someone to minister the Church.
MEN’S TRAINING
While we are in search of minister for the church, the need to prepare men of the congregation to lead service is key. In this vain, Bro. Francis Musa started a training section for the men of the congregation to lead the service. But he suggested that, to adequately prepare them, there is a need to plan a quick impact training program to equip them so as to help sustain the congregation in terms of leadership. He being a Guinean, we suggested that he prepares the plan for implementation.
BATCH FOUR YEAR TWO
QUARTER TWO RESUMED
On March 3rd 2025, our students returned back to school after two weeks of break; from April 21 to May 4, 2025. From the break, the students and staff are all in high spirit to play their own roles as required of them to enable us to complete another quarter of the school year. Unfortunately, one of our students has not returned and from the look of things, he might not be coming back because of his many complaints of the lessons being very intensive.
As part of the school policy, every student is required to submit a vacation report on their evangelistic activities during the break. The report takes in to consideration:
1. Where the student spent the vacation
2. Spiritual Activities
3. Results of those Activities
4. Name Of Congregation
5. Name and Contact of Minister or Church leader with whom the student worked
Results gathered from their reports are encouraging, and we are so proud of the practical works out of the classroom by our students.
Out of the 13 students who went for the break, we received 12 student’s vacation reports indicating that they were involved into preaching and teaching at their various congregations, and doing house to house evangelism. We did a follow up to confirm this information by placing a phone called to the leaders of the various congregations and they all confirmed working with the students. Please pray that these men continue to grow in the work of our Lord as they prepare to take their various responsibilities as Evangelists and ministers of the Gospel.
CONCLUSION
It is your love for God and your constant support that has allowed us to come this far with the huge work we have here. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for your spiritual and financial assistance. We are eternally grateful to each and every of you. To God be the glory, praise and honor belong to Him.
Thanks!
