Evangelism campaigns in Wotutu, Cameroon

Dearest in Christ,

Greetings to all of you who read our reports. We are grateful for you, and we pray that this report finds you in good health and sound in faith regarding the things of Christ. Last week went well along with all that is entrusted in our hands here as we labor daily for the cause of Christ.

Tomorrow, the 20th of May, is our national day here in Cameroon. Please take a bit of your time to pray for the country Cameroon that God should help us in the senseless crisis that we have been inside for the past 8 years.

We were out of Wotutu for mass evangelism in Mudeka for the weekend. We went there to help evangelize the community and also to bid farewell to a faithful sister in Christ there. It was Helen Peter who passed away. Please keep her children in your prayers. After a busy day of house-to-house evangelism, we sat down somewhere to eat and regain energy for more work.

House to House evangelism gives us great opportunities to share the gospel to many willing hearts. They are free to ask questions about what they have heard from us, as they compare it with what they have been hearing and practicing in their denominations.

By 8 O’clock in the evening, we converged in a village square to preach in the open air to the public. I preached on the topic, “The Reality of the Judgement Day.” It was sounding frightening to many onlookers. That is why the evening was characterized with many questions and answers. Many were eager to know, if truly there will be a day, when all activities on earth will stop, and God will judge all mankind.

During the day, we were busy with house-to-house offering the bread of life free of charge. While many denominational groups sell their messages with promises of miracles, we are offering the undiluted word, absolutely free of charge. Please keep our efforts in your prayers.

The community was very receptive to us as they opened the doors of their houses to welcome us. They were also encouraged to open up their hearts and the pages of their Bibles to sort out the truth. Many questions were asked to help clear doubts and we used the scriptures only, to clear their doubts.

God is too good as we are daily seeing the increase He is giving through our other ministries here like the Brightland Christian Orphanage. This week we baptized Egu Philemon, a young man that is living in and being cared for in Brightland Christian Orphanage Wotutu. This is a great ministry that is reaching out to true orphans to “nurture them for eternity.”

Ursla Bapoh also obeyed the gospel on Sunday 18 May 2025. When we started dreaming about starting the orphanage, we decided that our motto would be “NURTURING FOR ETERNITY.” We can see our dream coming true. Anyone knowing the condition of these children before their coming to the orphanage would have wondered about the future of these children and who would take care of them after their parents passed away. They can now see the love of God through His children that are either overseeing, donating to, or taking care of these children through Brightland Christian Orphanage (BCO). These are children who can’t really explain to anyone why they were the one to end up as orphans. Please, in your private time, remember these children in your prayers.

Marieclaire Anna is a student in the Brightland Christian schools here in Wotutu. We do our best to use Christian education to preach the gospel while these children are in our confined space, we reach out to them with the truth. This is possible through the Brightland Christian schools.

Sakwe Liwini, also a student from Brightland, obeyed the gospel. Christian education cannot be overlooked. These young minds can easily be transformed in school into becoming something better than if they were only left to the influencers in the society. A total of 7 precious souls were added into the body of Christ during the weekend.
