Successful campaigns in Maseru
MASERU REPORT
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The school still moves in the right direction, training sound doctrinal preachers. 4 evangelism campaigns were held in Lesotho. Students are also engaged in Thaba Nchu evangelism. 6 souls have been saved.
Bear Valley Bible Institute, Maseru, has been instrumental in producing thoroughly equipped men with knowledge and skills to spread the gospel. Congregations appreciate the impact of the school on their services. Both our former students and current ones are doing well on the pulpit, Bible studies, church activities and life in general. At Maseru Church of Christ, the leadership has made it clear that only the BVBI students should conduct the services. This has also helped the church to grow, as the saying goes, “As the pulpit goes, so goes the congregation.”
There were four evangelism campaigns in Sehlabeng and Maputsoe. The school has realised that students need more practical experiences in the field so that they can apply their theoretical knowledge they gain in classes. This has also helped them to grow spiritually. As a result of these campaigns, six souls were baptised.
Since October, students and instructors, on every Thursday go to Thaba Nchu in South Africa to evangelise. The Thaba Nchu evangelism is a collaboration with the church from Bloemfontein. Five souls have already obeyed the gospel and were baptised. The school's goal is to establish a congregation in this small town by January 2026.
The school is saddened to inform you about the death of Brother Robert’s mother. Robert is one of the instructors at BVBI Maseru and Bloemfontein. She was laid to rest on the 22nd of October. Students from Maseru and Bloemfontein attended the funeral.
Thank you for your support and prayers.
God bless you
In His arms,
Tawanda Mwadiya
