Students and Staff Port Harcourt Celebrate Successful Year

FOURTH QUARTER 2025 REPORTS

Bear Valley Bible Institute, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria

INTRODUCTION

We give thanks to God for His grace, guidance, and provisions throughout the last quarter of 2025. This quarter has been marked by steady progress, renewed commitment, and encouraging results in our mission to train faithful gospel preachers. Despite various challenges, God has continued to open doors for teaching, evangelism, and spiritual growth. Our staff and students have worked diligently in the classroom and in the field, and we are grateful for the results we continue to see in the lives of our students and in the congregations we serve. We remain committed to strengthening the Lord’s church in Nigeria through sound biblical education and practical ministry training.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES

Our students continued their classes faithfully throughout the quarter. The outgoing set has now completed all required courses. Transcripts are being prepared for submission to Brother Chad Wagner for review. Once approved, the students will receive their diplomas. Preparations are also underway for our third graduation ceremony. We appreciate the hard work of both teachers and students in reaching this important milestone.

ADMISSIONS

With the outgoing class completing their studies, spaces opened for new students. We continued visiting congregations across Port Harcourt to encourage and recruit new students. Many congregations welcomed us warmly, and a few new students have already joined and begun their studies. We believe that this ongoing recruitment effort will help strengthen the Institute and expand its impact.

EVANGELISM

During this quarter, our teachers and students continued to work together in evangelism. On Saturday, the 29th of November 2025, we visited a newly established congregation at Mandela Estate in Port Harcourt. Together with the members of the congregation, we went from house to house, shops, and the streets in the estate, sharing the gospel and distributing tracts. Several people showed interest, and some visited the congregation the following Sunday. Follow-up studies are ongoing. We trust that these efforts will lead many souls to Christ.

STUDENT PRACTICAL FIELD WORK PLANNED FOR JANUARY 2026

Arrangements are in progress to send our students out for their practical fieldwork—known in our transcripts as “campaign”—in January 2026. Letters have been sent to several congregations where the students will work and gain practical ministry experience. During the last campaign, our students reported 15 baptisms and many restorations. We are prayerful and hopeful that even more souls will be converted during the January 2026 outreach.

APPRECIATION

We sincerely appreciate our supporters in the United States for their constant love, prayers, and financial support. Your partnership plays a major role in helping us train faithful gospel preachers for the kingdom of God. May God continue to bless you richly.

LOOKING AHEAD

We plan to:

Carry out the students’ practical fieldwork/campaign in January 2026.

Hold the third graduation ceremony later in the year.

Continue recruitment of new students.

Conduct more evangelism campaigns in nearby communities.

We humbly request your continued prayers and support as we keep working for the growth of the Lord’s church.

CONCLUSION

The fourth quarter of 2025 has been productive, encouraging, and filled with God’s blessings. With His help and your continued support, the Bear Valley Bible Institute, Port Harcourt, will remain committed to training gospel preachers and strengthening congregations across Nigeria.
