Bear Valley Bible Institute Nigeria (BVBI) Ette Study Center.
REPORT: from August to October 2025.
Another supreme moment to say that the BVBI ETTE has indeed contributed directly to the spiritual growth of members in the church. This is the third phase of our report since the establishment of this study center.
August Report
Lectures held this month, with the course "Public speaking/Homiletics" facilitated by Williams Uzoma. This course provided the students with an understanding of communication skills specific to religious preaching. They learn how to prepare a sermon and how to successfully deliver or present the sermon, how to manage nervousness and stage fright, and how to build overall confidence in speaking situations.
Speech Preparation and Structure
The learn the importance of audience engagement: Tailoring the message to the audience's needs and interests.
September Report
In September, the course " (marriage and family life) was taught by Ameh Augustin. This course equipped students with the knowledge and understanding of the purpose of marriage, preparing for it, establishing roles and expectations, learning to communicate effectively, listen to one another, and express needs and feelings clearly, to resolve disagreements in a healthy and constructive way
Teamwork: Fostering a sense of partnership and working together as a team to manage home and life.
October Report
The course " Old Testament 1 (Book of the law)
This course covers the first five books of the Old Testament, which were taught by God's Power
It provided the students with an understanding of God's plan for humanity, the consequences of sin, the importance of obedience and covenant, and God's faithfulness and redemption plan throughout history.
The importance of remembering God's history and laws, the choice between obedience and disobedience, and God's desire for His people to follow Him wholeheartedly.
Evangelism Report
In the month of August, there were two evangelism programs that took place, the first was organized by the mission team, which all the students attended, and some of the students preached that day, about 4 people were said to have been baptized.
The second evangelism, the school organized a two-day mega evangelism outreach, which brethren from Kogi, Enugu, and Anambra State decided to attend, which touched about a thousand souls who heard the undiluted Gospel. The outcome of this evangelism was remarkable:
1. It promoted the image of the church as people from the neighboring community came to hear about the church.
2. The ETTE mission team and Members were fully strengthened by the evangelism, as it was the first of its kind.
3. Some members later got baptized after the evangelism by the mission team, who later did a follow-up as reported.
October Evangelism report
The church at Olepe invited the director and students to her evangelism, which we attended. 2 people were baptized that day, and about 4 people were later baptized a week after by the congregational preacher.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the activities of BVBI from August to October 2025 have been fruitful, with students and ministers working together to spread the Gospel and deepen their understanding of the Bible. We are grateful for the support and guidance of the management and staff of BVBI., We look forward to massive growth and fruitfulness in the future.
