UPDATE REPORT FROM BVBIN-AFIKPO CENTER, OCTOBER, 2025.
This report covers mainly the months of July, August, and September 2025.
From the inception of the Bear Valley program at Afikpo till this update, we have been able to cover the following courses: 1. Writing - Language & Research. 2. How We Got The Bible. 3. Scheme of Redemption. 4. Christian Ethics. 5. Christian Evidence. 6. Personal Evangelism 1. 7. Marriage & Family Life. 8. Old Testament 1 (Book of Law) and 9. Homiletics (Public Speaking).
TRAINING: We, the Lecturers, had special training by Obeten Okoi Oka on MLA application. We stepped the training down to our students.
EVANGELISM: We embarked on door-to-door evangelism on most days outside the study days. On 30th August, 2025, we embarked on a massive evangelism at Ukawu, Onicha LGA, Ebonyi state, which resulted in TWO BAPTISMS. We had two more baptisms on our door-to-door evangelism, making a total of FOUR (4) BAPTISMS. Grand total as at this report for the year, 2025, we have a total of TWENTY (21) BAPTISMS.
We gave Bibles to the newest converts.
NO. OF STUDENTS: We have 14 dedicated students at the moment. The other 5 students stopped to continue later.
EVALUATION: The students and Lecturers are dedicated and committed to the training. Afikpo center is bent on making the Bear Valley program outstanding by preparing the students to graduate to be self-reliant. The strategy to achieve it is ongoing.
Both the national and regional directors of the program are doing well.
