Eight Precious Souls Added In Arusha...

Greetings Fellow Workers;

Wow, what a week. We hope and we pray this note finds each of you well, blessed in all the right ways. We are so very thankful for each of you and for all you do to make God’s mission work possible.

Jimmy’s family have now been here for a couple of weeks. They are working in the Kisongo area and after conducting many Bible studies everyday, eight souls have given their lives to God and His service. The power of God through the preaching and teaching of His Word is having a transforming effect in the lives of many.

Today concluded a week long marriage seminar as well at the Kisongo church. I have heard many positive comments about the many lessons. We are so very grateful for all our short-term co-workers do and for the positive impact they are having on the Church here in Tanzania.

Today was a very special day at Arusha. With a full house, we were blessed by the young people in a way seldom seen. After the morning Bible class and worship the youth demonstrated to the church all they had been learning over the past four months. They shared their special “talents,” art, singing, acting, writing, debating, and public speaking. The youth group ranged from first graders to seniors in high school.

It was truly amazing to see these young people excited and for their hard work demonstrated was a joy to be a part of. I must admit, my heart was full of joy seeing the thirty or so young excited about working together and to realize the growth that has and is taking place in their lives and in the life of the Church.

The second year students finished their sixth quarter and are now home with their families for a couple of months. The first year students have one more Short Course, then they will head home at the end of this week. Please pray for these good men as they strive to do God’s will.

Hannah Box arrived safely and our good friends/co-workers from Second and Adams, Elk City, OK, arrive tonight. The Safari for Souls campaign will begin Tuesday at Maji ya Chai. The congregation, with the help of other fellow Christians, has been doing pre-campaign work for the past two weeks. Over forty home Bible studies have already been established, so the work begins.

We thank God for answered prayers and we ask of each of you to pray God’s will be done and that many will hear and obey His Word and Will.

We pray God blesses you with a great week in the Kingdom to the saving of some lost soul. Please remember, Penny Cabler, Gary & Rachel Box, Forest & Teresa Rachels, and Caitlin Middleton who will all be arriving this week.

In Him, Cy, Stephanie & Granny
