Denny Petrillo, PhD., President of the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver presented the lesson today in opening chapel. His lesson entitled, "Passion" was not only well aimed at the preacher students in our school, but also to Christians in general as well.

Today's chapel marks the beginning of a new year for students and staff at the Institute. Ten new students have joined us to prepare themselves to be more effective servants for the Lord. We are excited to have these new students with us.

Today begins a new year at the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver. Our freshman students have arrived and are excited about the work they are begining. This marks the 41st year of training preachers at the Institute and as always opening chapel celebrates the new school year.

Denny Petrillo, Ph.D., President of the Institute gave the opening chapel speech which is being podcast here. His speech from 1 Kings 19 set the tone for the new year and gave our new students a glimpse of what they have committed themselves to for the next two years.

Our new term begins Tuesday, September 6, 2005 and we will begin podcasting the first week. We hope you enjoy these presentations.
