Are you considering a life of ministry?
There is no greater, more important work you can do in your life than preaching and teaching the Gospel. Through ministry, you have the opportunity to impact the lives and eternity of others positively. You can provide spiritual guidance and support through the Word of God that can transform lives and provide strength in challenging times. Ministry is a calling that allows you to share your faith, inspire hope, and make a lasting difference in the world. Because we believe this so strongly, we have been committed to training men and women for a life in ministry for almost 60 years.
Preaching Program
Our two-year program leads to a Bachelor of Biblical Studies (BBS) degree and provides 136 semester hours of intensive, ministry-focused training. Sixty of those hours are dedicated to Bible text courses—totaling an extraordinary 942 classroom hours spent directly in Scripture. Few programs offer this level of depth, and it’s one of the clearest reasons students choose Bear Valley: a rock-solid foundation in God’s Word that strengthens faith, shapes character, and fuels powerful, sound biblical preaching.
Designed for those pursuing preaching, missions, or other full-time ministry roles, the program delivers a comprehensive and practical curriculum. In addition to rigorous Bible and ministry courses, students study Church History, Evangelism, Greek, and more. Every course is built to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to serve effectively, communicate Scripture accurately, and make a meaningful impact in the kingdom.
If you are seeking a program that challenges you, stretches your abilities, and prepares you for real-world ministry, Bear Valley offers a proven path. This is where preparation becomes purpose.
