Students in Owerri, Nigeria, Continue their Studies

Calvary greetings to you in the wonderful name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. 

We are grateful to God and the entire Bear Valley family for being found useful in contributing to this important service of equipping the saints for the work of our Lord and master. By God’s grace, we will continue to do our best to achieve the best, not minding the challenges along the way.

STUDENTS

Currently, our attendance is between 11 and 12 dedicated students; 3 of our students are still sick and have been unable to attend classes for some time.

The security situation which affected some students has improved, and we will be conducting an entrance examination for new students next week.

OUTREACH 

We had a door-knocking outreach within the school community, while putting in more effort at the congregation we've been trying to revive in Umuago town.

The death of the traditional ruler really affected some members because of fear of whether the children will take the land or not, but thank God all is calm for now.

Another preachers’ and church leaders’ workshop will be held in November.

BAPTISM 

Within this period, we had three baptisms.

OBITUARY 

On a sad note but with thanks to God, 

We lost one of our key lecturers in the person of Dr Gideon NWAEZE, he was our pioneer instructor and was dedicated to the work of teaching and mentoring students. He was involved from day one in making sure that Owerri center was established.

His burial comes up first week of October.

We are indeed grateful for your support to us in this ministry. We assure you that we will keep the flag high, and your confidence in us will not be in vain while you pray for us.
