Quarterly Report 

BEAR VALLEY BIBLE INSTITUTE – NHOWE MISSION

July – September 2026

Introduction  

We begin this report by expressing our deepest joy, thus far the Lord has helped us. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Almighty God for His providential care, guidance, and the strength bestowed upon our faculty and students throughout this busy third quarter. We also wish to express our profound appreciation to Bear Valley International for their unwavering partnership, support, and shared vision in training faithful men and women for the vineyard. It is through this collaborative effort that the Nhowe Mission continues to be a beacon of sound doctrine and spiritual transformation.

1.0 STUDENT PRACTICUM AND EVANGELISM

The quarter saw a vibrant engagement of our students in practical ministry. Theory met practice as students were immersed in daily ministry activities:

Institutional Presence: Students maintained a continuous practicum at the Nhowe Schools and the local hospital. Their presence provided much-needed spiritual counseling, prayer, and support to both students and patients.

Personal Work and Evangelism: Beyond the classroom, students were active in personal work, conducting door-to-door evangelism and one-on-one Bible studies within the community. This hands-on approach has not only bolstered the confidence of our students but has also strengthened the church's presence in the surrounding areas through daily Gospel outreach.

2.0 ACADEMIC PROGRESS AND COMPLETED COURSES

We are pleased to report that the curriculum for the quarter was successfully executed. We owe a debt of gratitude to our dedicated staff members who rendered their time and expertise to equip the students. Completed Courses:

1, 2, & 3 John - Instructed by Brother Madyira.

Hebrews - Instructed by Brother Suwari.

Major Prophets - Instructed by Brother Mutichu.

Homiletics - Instructed by Brother Mutichu.

August Block Classes: A significant highlight of the quarter was the intensive block class session held from August 6th to 16th. The 10-day session was a success, characterized by high attendance and rigorous study. We appreciate the efforts of Howard Suwari and Ishmael Mutichu, who facilitated these classes, ensuring that students delved deep into the biblical text and practical ministry skills.

3.0 NATIONAL EVENTS AND FELLOWSHIP

The month of August was a season of fellowship and external ministry for the Nhowe Mission family:

National Lectureships: The school was well-represented at both the National Men’s Lectureship and the Women’s Lectureship. These gatherings served as vital platforms for networking and spiritual recharging.

Women’s Ministry: A special point of joy was seeing Otilia Chitendeni take an active leadership role. She was given the opportunity to teach a lesson during the Zimbabwe’s Annual Women’s Lectureship, showcasing the growth and capability of our sisters in handling the Word of Truth.

Conclusion And Future Outlook

In summary, the third quarter of 2026 has been marked by academic excellence, practical growth in evangelism, and active participation in the wider brotherhood. The students are demonstrating a maturing passion for the Gospel, and the faculty remains committed to the highest standards of Biblical education. As we move toward the final quarter of the year, our focus remains on "Ongoing Progress." We are currently preparing for our upcoming weekend classes and the final intensive block classes scheduled for December. We ask for your continued prayers as we finish the year strong, striving to present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
