With hearts full of gratitude, we give thanks to God for His unfailing grace, sustaining strength, and the abundant blessings bestowed upon the sponsors and leadership of the Bear Valley Bible Institute (BVBI). His faithfulness has continued to uphold and guide the work of the Ette Study Center.
This period under review represents another important stage in the steady progress and development of the center. The Ette Study Center has remained committed to its purpose of equipping students from various congregations with sound Biblical knowledge, fostering both spiritual maturity and academic growth.
We are pleased to present this document as the sixth annual report since the inception of the study center. It highlights the notable achievements, growth, and continued impact experienced within the past year, both in learning and in spiritual formation.
Monthly Academic Report
May 2026
The course “Church History” was facilitated by Ameh Augustine.
Lessons on Church history help the students to understand the origin, growth, struggles, and development of the church of Christ from the time of Christ and the apostles till today.
It shows how the church began, reveals how truth was preserved or corrupted, and helps us learn from past errors and victories
June 2026
In June, the course “Bible Geography” was taught by Faith Jonathan.
The course on Bible Geography was systematically structured to address and expand students’ comprehensive understanding of the historical, cultural, and physical contexts of the biblical world. It sought to provide a critical framework for interpreting Scripture by situating biblical narratives within their geographical settings, thereby enhancing exegetical accuracy and theological insight.
July 2026
During this month, lectures were conducted on the course “Old Testament II and Wisdom Literature” facilitated by God’s Power.
Old Testament II covers the Historical and Prophetic books, which explain Israel’s history and God’s messages to His people.
Wisdom Literature includes books that focus on practical living, human experiences, and the fear of the Lord.
Together, they teach both God’s dealings with His people and how to live wisely.
Activities Report
Evangelism: Following the two-day Mega Evangelism Outreach held from July 9 to 10, 2026, in collaboration with the Church of Christ, Efeche, and the gospel chariot, it was a success. The Gospel message reached a wide audience across the community.
There was a notable increase in attendance and interest.
This outcome demonstrates the effectiveness of the evangelism effort and the continued responsiveness of the community to the Gospel. Prospects promise to worship with the congregation near them.
Conclusion
The reporting period spanning May to July 2026 has been marked by steady progress and meaningful accomplishments at the BVBI Ette Study Center. Through dedicated academic engagement and active evangelistic efforts, both students and ministers have worked in unity to advance the cause of Christ. The impact of these activities is evident in the increased Biblical knowledge, spiritual maturity, and strengthened fellowship among participating congregations.
